The CS4 has the check valve up on top. It's a matter of removing the complete brass 'Burst disc' fitting that's beside the grease pot. Use the tube socket from the tool kit to undo the complete fitting. You can leave the smaller top fitting alone as the burst disc lives under there...you need to...

I had the same problem with my new quickfill on my 9015, and a new CS4 compressor. Could not get pressure at all. Someone on here suggested I give the probe and O rings a good grease up (nice sticky silicon grease it was too). Yep...that worked. Pressure started building up immediately.
