Idaho’s new rules on taking turkeys with airguns, its unlawful with less than

Well Idaho is smarter then CA isn't that obvious by now? Are you trying to make a joke about .30 cal being smaller then .177 cal?

Okay so.. its a big mess! How do you organize all your Airgun support?

I to use a range bag which contains a small cleaning kit and a set of Wheeler gunsmith tools that stay in the bag. Instead of spending a bunch of money on boxes why not set up a range bag or box with the equipment needed so your not always looking for stuff? Buy a stapler for the bag or better...

    PCP air rifle setup

I started a couple months ago with an Avenger, cheap Amazon hand pump and cheap scope. There's nothing wrong with the Avenger, less then 1/4 inch groups at 25 yards. I don't have a problem pumping mine up from 2000 psi to 4350 psi. Going from 0 to 4350 psi is a grind the first time I degassed...

    Trying my hand at stippling

I've messed around stippling plastic with a wood burner and some tips I purchased. Started on a couple AR factory grips I had as extra and crippled some numbers on a few AR mags. I was thinking about stippling the plastic grips on my Crosman Triple Threat revolver as I can't get the grip tape...

    Brass vs stainless steel fittings

If the part doesn't have a PSI rating don't buy it. We have no way of guessing the rating.

    Brass vs stainless steel fittings

What's the rating on the fitting? Doesn't matter if it's brass or stainless as long as its rated for the attended pressures. If your fill line is used on a 4500 psi pump then I would bet ever fitting and hose used on the pressure side of things is rated for 5000 + psi.

    No customer service anymore

Poor planning on your part for not ordering sooner. Why is it the company's fault when the shipper causes the problem? Once it leaves the sellers hands they have no control over it. Why do these types of posts always start or end with I'm disabled, on SS or poor? What does that have to do with...

Waiting on that new product Ed mentioned is coming

Isn't Edgun a Russian company? If so I would hope anything new is a long time coming to the USA.

Anyone here convert big bores into arrow fishing rigs?

One issue I see is shooting the string out of the reel, with most bow fishing bows by the time you run out of string the arrow is slowed down enough the string stops the arrow, with the PCP there will probably be enough energy to snap the string or break the reel. Just have to watch the...

Anyone here convert big bores into arrow fishing rigs?

I'd rig it up like a bow fishing rig. Bow fishing arrow with a AMS bow fishing reel. Good thing with the AMS is there is no button to forget to push before the shot like there is on other reels. Leave the arrow long enough for the line slide to stick out of the muzzle.

Recommend my first PCP gun, $1500 budget.

Why limit ypurself to lower tank pressures? Just because the tank holds 4300 psi doesn't mean you have to pump 4300, you can stop pumping any time you want but what do I know I'm 54 years old and I can manage to pump my PCP to 4350 all the time. I almost didn't get into PCP's because all the...

Bottom pour casting pot maintenance ?

Smelt and clean your lead good before putting it in the Lee pot and you shouldn't have a problem. I will drain my pot every few years and scrap out the bottom but it's mostly something I do when I've about cast all the lead out of the pot and I'm done casting for a while. Big thing with the Lee...

    Best scopes under $200

Cvlife $50 on Amazon. There 4×16 scope is all I need on a .177 or .22 air rifle shooting 100 yards and less. Even further out this scope is fine. I just can't see spending a bunch of cash on a no recoil life shooting short distances. If your shooting close range a scope with an adjustable...

What's The Most Bang For The Buck In A Spotting Scope ?

For target's at 100 yards about anything will be fine, if your trying to judge deer or elk out past 300 yards spend the cash on a very good one. In all actuality having a cheap spotter for the range can save a good spotter a lot of abuse. I've had my tripod kicked more then once by buddy's and...

    getting started kit

From my newer prospective I would get a regulated rifle as your shots are more consistent throughout the fill and your not dealing with the air pressure bell curve. Not to mention how adjustable the regulated rifles are for FPS, shot count and are easy to be fine tuned into real tack drivers. I...

    Phone app for targets

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will just stick with the old antiquated way of writing on the target and measuring the group by hand. Not sure what I expected from a target app but after testing the couple mentioned and a few others I'm not impressed.

Tuning Avenger won’t take a charge.

Maybe but not necessarily, mine would leak down from 4350 to 2500 then hold for days. Sounds like 2 issues, something affecting the fill process and a leak. If the leak is bad enough the rifle won't take air chances are it would bleed all pressure. OP do you have a hand pump? If so try to pump...
