I like reading Hector Medina,he is very knowledgeable in his domain.

Hector has also sent me items to try and return if unhappy or pay him. I have paid and am very happy with his tuner on my D54 plus very good advice he gave me. Sad you choose an anonymous forum to cast aspersions. So to you two, either present facts or as you say, ******.

    Results Benchrest is perplexing

I agree.....and disagree. Flags can show you when not to shoot, especially not in a reverse. But once you learn them, flags most definitely DO tell you when to shoot. When you sit down at the bench you should know what your looking for and only shoot when you get it. Lack of patience will hurt...

It's not linear and yes it will be bigger. Random thoughts and theorys don't win. Testing and practice wins.

He who properly reads the wind with a tuned rifle wins. Only way to read the wind is flags, They are common sense. No black magic. Lazy people say I don't understand them. Buy flags, pay attention, and never shoot without them and trust them. You will learn.

    Optic suggestion

If your a vet,Sightron has a great discount. For the price the Stac series is hard to beat. The higher end Sightrons are as good as it gets.

I just looked through 3 of my unmounted scopes

Sightron STac for the money is hard to beat plus I love the reticles. Only bad scope I have had from Hawke was an Air Max. Only scopes I like from Hawke are the Sidewinders, I have several, but will buy no more until the get rid of the reticles they have in them.

Accuracy is not linear. Many factors. So direct to your question.....no.

    Benchrest rifle

One piece rests make it much easier to shoot well. But, at what point should we just eliminate the shooter. Benchrest in my mind should be a combination of the gun and a shooter who can drive it. But Chucky doesn't shoot well so he wants a wider stock, a heavier rifle, no time limit and rules...

The scope you wished you'd never let go?

Why would you ever buy a scope with no parallex adjustment? What is the reason for first focal plane. I would not give one the space in my gunroom unless I was going to try and use it for range estimation but really, you never heard of a laser range finder. I don't think you can accurately...
