    Zeiss scope....maybe?

I have shot in hundreds , no probably several 1000 competitions in my 60 years of competitive shooting. Never saw a Zeiss rifle scope on the line except one time. But I have a Ziess 85mm sporting scope I have used for 20 years and love it. I would not be afraid of trying one but be sure before...

Ruger #1 scope recommendation? Sorry it's a PB but trust y'all's opinion.

Best choice for 500.00 is a used name brand. You need to give a bit more info. Does he want variable or fixed power. Is blued or matt ok or does he want silver. How much minimum power. Ok would advise looking in AccuratevShooter classifieds but to buy off there you need to join and I think have...

Harmonic Barrel Tuners - Help or Hype?

I have been using tuners on my centerfire benchrest rifles for about 15 years. They work. How well depends on the user. Now that I am interested in accurate springers I have found that work just like on PB. I bought a D54 .22 and was pretty disappointed in it. Had John Thomas tune it, cut groups...

    N/A Pa Airgun Show Results

Well, I came home with my money so that was not great. All the tables were full but little of interest to me. I saw one D75 that looked like it was dragged behind the tractor last plow season and another that was a walnut stock model and clean except for one flaw. The toe of the stock was...

    Sightron S6 fieldtarget

I shot a lot of PB BR from 100 to 1000 yards. The Sightron Sheds are the brightest scopes I have ever looked through. If the S6 has the dual knob for parallex it is the berries. It allows you to focus 4x more accurately than what everyone else has.

N/A Air Arms Tx 200 or Weihrauch HW97

Performance is equal. TX a bit easier to teardown and I love walnut and pretty blueing I bought a TX and have been totally happy. 97 a bit less money but not as handsome.

    Air Arms Glass Bedding?

I shoot a tuned TX off the bench, a lot. Mostly at 20 meters. I was getting ocassional random shots that I felt were not me always in the vertical plane. I replace the rear leather sand bag with a machinist Vblock screwed on a wooden block with one layer of fuzzy Velcro in the v. Random vertical...

    Bipod, sled or sand bags?

That is my thought. Think Lead Sled. To me one piece rests remove the human element. Or, a gigantic crutch.

    Bipod, sled or sand bags?

It freezes the gun and scope tube in place. Scope internals get full brunt of the recoil impulse.
