    Airgun owners vs firearm owners

Both! Long time casual PB shooter here. I got into airguns about 3 years ago and it’s been more fun for me since then. I keep expecting for my preference to return to PBs but it hasn’t happened yet and not sure if it will. There’s a lot to like about airguns.

You’re off topic, bro. This thread is focused on L2.

N/A Why PCP airguns are so expensive?

I think you meant convenience, and yes, that’s what I’m spending my money for. More convenience means it gets more use which makes it easier to justify. It’s also nice to take out those pesky chipmunks. 🐿️

Good news for air tanks carry bag

Agreed. I think it's strange that a lot of bags don't cover the valve area which I'd have to assume is the most vulnerable part..

Should i buy a new or used air arms pro sport?

The undercover is plenty durable but a weak link rod spring (#PS296) will cause the lever to fall loose after shooting a pellet. Mine developed a loose spring after just a few months and a few hundred pellets. AA replaced the spring under warranty, but it needs to be replaced again now...

Should i buy a new or used air arms pro sport?

Agreed on all points. I always thought it was odd that the gun is so big and heavy and only has like a 9” (iirc) barrel.

American Air Arms The new Evol HPS. How lucky am I to get to test such a thing?

An owners manual would be nice too — even just a pdf version…

    Spartan Javelin Lite Bipod

@AirThayer, the looseness is in the qd-bipod interface. It's not horrible, but it's there. I wouldn't consider it to be stable enough for precision shooting (e.g. 30 yard challenge or long range), but that's not the purpose of this bipod. I think it'd be a good choice for a woods walker for...

    Spartan Javelin Lite Bipod

I have one that I use with my Leshiy 2. I bought it because I wanted to add some stability while keeping things light and simple. It has some nice features, like the use of magnets that hold the bipod in open and closed positions as well as the QD mount itself. The QD mount holds the bipod on...

    N+1, what’s your number?

I usually enjoy a variety of guns, but that doesn’t seem to translate to air guns for some reason. With PBs, I like to have different calibers, actions and barrel lengths. I have 3 nice airguns that represent some nice variety (aa prosport .177, L2 250mm .22, aaa Evol .22) but my preference is...

N/A Why Airguns ? Why is the hook so deep in many of us ?

I think guns and shooting is one of those hobbies that gets into your blood, and once it seeps in then it'll always be there. I started out with BB guns, then to paintball guns, then to centerfire (mostly AKs, AR15s, pistols), then to rim fire, now to air guns. They're so quiet, clean and...

    Show me your tripod setups

I just put this together about a week ago. I bought the RRS Anvil-30 ball head like-new from snipershide months ago and nearly forgot about it when I ran into a nice deal on a Leofoto LM-363C. I've only done a few 30 yard challenge targets 'out the window', but I like it so far.

    Video editing

https://shotcut.org/ Shotcut is open source and pretty feature rich. It has a bit of a learning curve, but worth the effort (IMO). Think of it like gimp for video editing.
