Out of any break barrel rifle’s such as the Gamos, I would not recommend 25.39 grain JSB Monsters. Why? Because they always seem to drop an inch or more every time I shoot them back at 18-20 yards. 

Wv70, sometimes my pellets hit way below with the heavier ones. Then my lighter pellets (14-15 grains) generally have better groups. That could also be me shaking because I know it can handle the 15.4 grain Gamo Red Fire .22 pellets cuz they generally have way tighter groups. Like half and inch...

Well actually now that I think about it they have to say it foams up I guess.

Chuckster636, that is a cleaner that sprays out in a liquid form right? I don’t care to much for the ones that foam up. At least on a cleaning patch.

Elh0102, do you think using Hoppes bore cleaner solvent is a good idea in a airgun? I know it works great in firearms, but seeing it was for specifically firearms, I was unsure of using it in airguns.

What oil do you recommend using on a patch to run through the barrel?

Also have you heard of Ballistol cleaner for guns? I heard it’s safe in airguns and can clean the bore. If you use it. Do you recommend it?

I was thinking of maybe using some Birchwood Casey gun scrubber in my break barrel air rifle. Anyone agree or disagree with doing this? Thanks to anyone who reply’s!

Do you have a preference between hollow point, pointed, and domed pellets for hunting?

I’ll probably get several pellets in different weights to see what it likes best with JSB 25 cal pellets.

When hunting. Do you prefer a 33 grain pellet over a 25 grain pellet?

I have a springer air rifle for hunting small game such as squirrels, and I wanted see If it likes heavy pellets for hunting. So I did an accuracy test with some JSB 25 gr pellets in my rifle and they dropped around a 1 inch at 18 yards. So should I stick in the 14-17 grain pellet range? 

Air-hunter_canyon, do you recommend heavy pellets should be used in PCP air rifles and not springer air rifles.

I guess I misunderstood.
