Feedback Give it up to Intenseaty22..

I purchased a scope and it was a great experience. He had enough posts, good feedback and there wasn’t a big amount of money on the table, that I used friends and family for payment. We agreed on an upfront overpayment only to insure the freight budget would be covered, and then a refund after...

How long is it okay to let a magazine full on ammo ?

I tend to agree with those that say it’s ok. It seems that if a good spring steel was used it wouldn’t matter. I mean, look at vehicle suspension springs. These are always under load and cars don’t get lower and lower to the ground over time. I bet a car rides at the just about same height...

Looking For The Best Indoor Chrony

Thanks biohazard man!! I really appreciate the tip about the harbor freight lights. I’ve messed around with the ideal lighting for my chrony and just find it finicky. I’m definitely going to try the two led lights sitting on top

    1720T is frikin good

What a fantastic pistol. I have the crosman silhouette and it seems to be a very similar pistol. I don’t think it shoots as fast and the barrel isn’t shrouded. For the power that it shoots tho, it’s still plenty quiet. I buy the carbine stock on it, mounted a scope, and went to pellet...

    WHICH ONE?

I definitely agree with bdzjlz. Everything considered, they are all super great guns. I have the wood version of the walther lgu and it is super accurate but a little heavy and slightly buzzy in its shot cycle. The hw97 without a doubt holds its own. I think it’s a little easier to shoot...

    CO2 pistol

I agree with the crosman 2300, super great pistol. If you want accuracy, try to find a pellet pistol with a rifled barrel. It will increase your chances of good accuracy. And remember, try a good handful of different kinds of pellets. It makes a difference to find one the gun really likes

    Springer

Oh, nothing wrong with a diana either. I really like crosman as a company. I love the 1377 their pcp’s, great value. I’m just not a fan of the np2 rifles. They shoot too hot for excellent accuracy. At least in my experience

    Air Gun Reccomendations

Please stay away from c02 for hunting. Even velocity at the barrel is questionable more or less 35-45 yard shots. 22 springers all the way. Personally I like steel springs over gas rams. Springs lever loose pressure

Do break barrel rifles have steel inner barrels

What powder burners have barrel liners?? I’ve never heard of such a thing.

Show us you favorite inexpensive springers

I have cheep to expensive. I really like the stoeger x-20 S2. Easy to cock, really quiet and very respectably accurate. It’s a good good gun. But stay away from the 1st gen and stay with the S2. The breech lockup has been redesigned and is substantially better

    Vintage Air Rifle

Whatever it is, it’s beautiful. It might be too hard to get up and going. If it is a bulk fill co2 by the time you get the tank, fill hoses and the co2 situated, you might be better getting a good quality springer.

    Pellet accuracy

Jsb’s aren’t always the best shooting. My experience is a gun, mostly, either liked h&n or JSB but not usually both brands. Most of my springers like H&N’s. My pcp’s usually JSB’s. But it can swing either way. Crosman’s are random and are always worth a try. It’s so important to try...

High Power .177 - what are people's experiences?

Slugs are definitely not as subjected to instability at high speeds. Look at 17hmr. 17g bullets at 2650 FPS. I thing 177 slugs and pcp’s might be a great combination if you can find one that’s accurate I

    Your pellet supply?

I think I have 20 plus airguns but still more $ in a stockpile of pellets then I do in the guns themselves. Does anyone know a psychiatrist for this kind of mental problem?? ; ), oh wait, I don’t think I want to change

    Good Cheap Hunting Pellet

Thanks, definitely will try. I’ve had good luck with Winchester and Geco branded pellets, all types. I also like BSA interceptor 177 and of course a lot of Crosman pellets. It’s always great finding a new, well shooting pellet, that doesn’t break the bank.

    Advice requested - which caliber?

I bet the Hatsan is a fine rifle. If they’re anything like the AT-44’s they shoot pretty hot and can’t be hammer spring tuned down very far. And also, if it is like the 44’s that I have in 22, it might use a lot of air. Even tuned down, I’m still shooting in the high 800’s with average weight...
