Bench rest target in ft position

Ft position is any of the above you asked. Any form you use or equipment while your on the course. Not off of a bench rest and chair. So when I refer to my ft position I’m on a bag and shooting the rifle off of my knee. Just a good way to practice techniques and consistency In my opinion. For me...

Bench rest target in ft position

shooting a few cards from the bench might be a place I should of started to just to compare. I will have to do that for sure. Was just thinking of a good way to challenge myself instead of shooting just groups at paper and knockdown targets.

Bench rest target in ft position

Searched a little bit on the forum and have not found anything related to this but just something I have been trying.. It is always a question to myself on further targets if I miss if it was a wind call or down to me just not doing everything right and consistent on my shot. So I been shooting...

    TX200 cocking shoe

I took .010 of brass shim and cut to fit under cocking shoe to be sandwiched between shoe and compression tube. Left a little extra on the ends to bend at 90degrees so it can not come out. Helped my TX out.

    Air Arms TX200 problem

Thanks for all the input. Pretty certain I have gotten to the problem. The culprit is the cocking shoe. I had more play then I thought. Didn’t have any brass shim stock on hand so I used .005 copper strip. Made the tray around cocking shoe and seen no difference. So I added another .005. That...

    Air Arms TX200 problem

I checked my stroke and I came up with 86mm and the latch rod is tight. So checked that off. Have not checked the barrel nut. I will check that as well. I looked over the cocking shoe again and don’t see any damage. Don’t mean it’s not worn a few thousandths. Should get my new comp tube today or...

    Air Arms TX200 problem

I thought about the cocking shoe but from what I read online u notice play in the cocking arm and have issues with the safety. I haven’t had issues with those two. My luck that’s prolly it tho. Beings how I just purchased a comp tube. I do get consistent fps though. Just really low

    Air Arms TX200 problem

Thanks for all your input. Don’t think it’s the seal because I tried to different seals which both have given me good numbers before. Why I’m leaning towards the comp tube. Since I have another one coming to me I might as well tear that one down and see if the orings are bad.

    Air Arms TX200 problem

If anyone has any advice that would be great. This is my problem. My last ft match my tx was all over the place. Couldn’t figure it out. Got home and chrono said I was at 735 which I have had it set up around 765. So I added another spacer on the guide and gun wouldn’t cock. So ok, I ordered a...
