N/A Guide Making on a Lathe For Beginners by a Beginner

Thanks for the video and the homemade airgun content. I can appreciate a professional tuner and the home tuner alike. Your lathe looks great. I'm sure you'll get that tail squared away. IDK, I've been beating on my table saw fence for 30 years.

Air Arms Nice day for a group pic

Wow, Thanks for the pic! That Camargue though... I didn't know! DMM, Would it be cruel to ask, "If you could only have one Air Arms which one would it be".

HW/Weihrauch VIDEO / Beeman R- 9 in the shop for repair and a tune

Good video. Your older HW95 videos introduced me to the mid-size / perfect-size springer. Maybe not perfect but I remember you saying it was your favorite. Now I enjoy my HW95 as my most powerful airgun.

    HW/Weihrauch Curse of the HW50

Interesting Ron, to hear about droop after removing the breech seal. I agree that something is either drilled or milled out of spec. When I worked in manufacturing / metal fab, of course I would make mistakes. Usually I would catch the measurement mistake in the first couple of parts and cull...

Air Arms Stoger X10 is very pellet sensitive....

That's exactly what mold it is. My only other mold right now is the Lee RN FP. I'm liking it too. Great report on the 2500 fps.

Air Arms Stoger X10 is very pellet sensitive....

158 grain Powder Coat 357, Ford light Blue. There's actually a few handfuls of range scrap H&N's and JSB's cast in there.

    HW/Weihrauch Curse of the HW50

I would be tempted to get a good straight used HW50 to swap barrels (for science sake). We might could learn where the rabid tolerance lies. For starters, I guess either hole in the pivot group could be off. It looks like the breech block is drooping too.

Air Arms Stoger X10 is very pellet sensitive....

Big difference! Those WC's did great. You might find a round nose to match that WC. I use H&N FTT but I've had good luck with "Excite" from amazon, made by H&N I think and a lot cheaper. The Daisy flat-nosed, already mentioned, worked good for me too. They were about $6 for 250 pcs. and I like...

N/A A mixed day on the range.

Good report and good pics! More of both please, as you see fit. I've been looking for a Ruger No.1 (falling block) for a while locally, hopefully in a common to me caliber.

    HW/Weihrauch .20 cal. Weihrauch Specials

I made a set of seat tools from 1/4 and 5/16 brass punches from a cheap set. I just chucked it up in a drill and sanded it round. They're still 3 1/2" long but I could chop it down if I wanted to pocket it.

Great Post. If you get time or desire, I would love to see HW30/177 vs HW30/20 with your commentary.

Crow, Do you happen to have a part number for these plugs?

    HW95 Caliber Conversion

I bought a 22 barrel and cocking arm and connecting pin from AOA for right at $200. I felt weird right away for only being $300 away from a brand new 22 rifle but that's OK. I think you could get away with not buying the extra parts for a barrel swap but it will make the old barrel easy to swap...

    Weihrauch ??

Yes. I like the read and thoughts. I was pondering a leather seal gun as a daily shooter but after considering the dieseling I think I'll stick to simple composite? seals. No disrespect to the OP, beerthief. I would buy that gun in a heartbeat.

    Weihrauch ??

Ron, Would the likely energy drop be from less volume and slower stroke?
