What have you done with your airgun today?

Bought an Apache 9800 tan hard case to protect the investment.

    New to the sport, sorta.....

I retired in 2016 from a career in LE as well, and my shooting, except for teaching took a downgrade. I shot everything when I worked, including a stint of 5 years with a precision rifle. I needed something to restart me a bit. About a year ago, I found PCP’s but could not make my mind up what...

Has anyone ever rattle-canned an airgun?

I have done around 10 to 15 AR's as well as shotguns, some my own, some not. I take the guns apart, and the prep consists of acetone, several wipe downs, then let it sit overnight. I only do these in the summer time, so I can hang the painted parts in the sun. I use Fusion plastic/metal/ wood...

    700cc RedWolf

I have the Brocock Sniper XR magnum? Where do you folks order the 700cc ones from and does anyone know if they are made for my rig?

    What for Christmas? Longish!

I am new to this site, about 2 months, maybe-- I saw the comment on the M60 and could not help but reply. Being a former, once-upon-a-time, carrier of that loud, lumpy, jamming piece of metal, I understand. I got the air gun bug a few years ago, but really did not discover the PCP world until...

    pellet/slug suggestion-Brocok Sniper XR Mag

I tried the Howlers, but only at 20 yards at this point. They didn't group real well at that range, but will push it out to check again. The ones that did were the H&N .217, 21Gr, Jumbo Heavies and Monsters, and the Hades.

    pellet/slug suggestion-Brocok Sniper XR Mag

Without beating my head on the wall doing a search, for those with the Brocock Sniper, for your rifles, what are some pellets/slugs that you hsve found that work pretty well. I'm a new owner, and will be testing the different ones, but any info is helpful. Thanks in advance-

    Classifieds lockout

I am new to the site, around 1-1/2 months. I have posted a few things in the PCP section and replied to a couple of other posts…..however, I live in a remote area, with no shops around, the nearest being 120 miles and hours away due to the roads. That being said, I’m ready to stick my head in...

    Regulated or unregulated?

After looking at everything, regulated vs unregulated, what types of air rifles, brand, caliber, air capacity, compressors, etc, etc, I’ve come to a conclusion….. I’m not confused anymore, I know which rifle in which caliber I want and which compressor to fuel the rifle. The cost won’t cause...

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Hi all, My name is Larry and I live in a remote part of Idaho, north of Boise about 100 miles. I’m a retired LEO, live in the outdoors for most of the dry part of the year, and there is an abundance of ground squirrels and Coyotes to chase.PCP’s sound like another hobby I need to keep me...

    Regulated or unregulated?

I will probably go with a regulated rifle, as for the brand, model, caliber, etc, I’m still undecided. However, that being said, I had the chance last Wednesday to shoot a Brocock Sniper HP XR and the Daystate Red Wolf, both in .22. The Redwolf is beyond my pay grade, but is a nice rifle and...

Dual Safari's rough it for a few days

After watching many of Dana’s videos over the last few months, I had the chance to shoot the Brocock Sniper Magnum XR and the Daystate Redwolf at Shooters Bench in Nampa, Idaho last Wednesday. the Redwolf is out of my league unfortunately but I really liked the Brocock. It has the Hawke...

    Regulated or unregulated?

I appreciate all the follow up suggestions on the two types of PCP’s, ie; regulated vs unregulated. Watching YouTube videos can be either informative, confusing and or frustrating, depending- But, I’ve quickly learned which folks are the “learned” ones and which are just looking for...

    Regulated or unregulated?

I appreciate all the input on the subject since I know little to nothing about PCP’s except they are quiet, usually, and require patience to get close to animals. I was a bow hunter but job related injuries cured that. I know powder burners very well, but the PCP world sounds fun and being...

    Regulated or unregulated?

I’m replying to both of your replies as I can’t reply to individual replies from folks yet since I don’t have 5 posts, but I have many questions, so 5 posts won’t be an issue. I was looking, rather leaning towards the Umarex G2, but after reading some “concerns” others have, I decided to do...

    Regulated or unregulated?

I apologize if this has been approached before but being new to the site, my search capability is less then stellar. I am looking into getting into this sport, and there are many viewpoints on this I am told, between different rifles. I understand the power curve between the two, but what is...

    PCP groups in central Idaho?

Bear paw, Due to my newness on Air Gun Nation, the site won’t let me reply to your private message until I make 5 other postings, ridiculous as that is. Anyway, thanks for the offer, but I’m looking at early spring before I make the jump, buying a rifle plus other stuff.

    PCP groups in central Idaho?

Thanks for the invite. I’m looking at which rifle to buy right now, and the brands, types, and calibers are many. I think I’m kind of leaning towards the .25 caliber vs smaller and eventually maybe a .357 caliber. The Gauntlet 2 with the upgrades looks good for a start. Before retirement my...
