Does a factory FX Impact Mk2 700mm barell shoot slugs well?

I'm looking at getting a 30cal FX Impact MK2. Can the factory 700mm barell shoot slugs well or will I need to get a slug liner?

Should I get a used FX Impact Mk1 or spend the extra money for Mk2 or Mk3 ?

I'm looking to buy a used FX Impact. 30 cal with 700mm barell and slug liner. Should I try to find an upgraded Mk1 or spend the extra money on a Mk2 or Mk3. This will be my first FX air rifle. Looking for any suggestions.
