Yep, that bugger fails quite a bit, compared to the other seals. That's some major gunk on yours, the brass holds up pretty well though.

I had a yellow triumph daytona 600, not a very well known bike. Rick is my name. I did some of the rides/events, but not alot of em. That variant was one of the last good ones it seems, before they went mostly plastic. Glad i saved it.

Great find, love the 760. I've got one with the later wood handle. Found it in the garage behind a washing mch (that also didn't work). Had five pellets jammed in the barrel and blown seals. Cant quite figure the date code though. Anyone wanna take a shot. Treefrog, were you on ocmoto by chance?
