You can drop down to 1400 on the reg and still be shooting 900+ fps with CPHP pellets or 1200 and be 875 fps, just something to think about and your shot count will go way up. I dont know what your plans are for the rifle but its plenty for squirrels and other small game.

You can shim the rear ring or buy adjustable height rings and raise the back ring. Monstrum and Westhunter both make inexpensive rings, I use the Monstums on my Avenger for the same reason you describe.

Can a stock HM1000X in .22 be detuned to shoot 18 grain pellets at 30 - 40 foot pounds without changing parts from the factory? Is the reg able to work that low, will the factory HS work it? I understand the gun is set and tuned for hi power before they ship but I cant seem to find any info...

You can get a slip on adapter with grub screws to threaded or search for a slip on moderator, the barrel is 16mm /.630 in.

I have never got them in a brick either between me and my father in laws orders with all the tins we ordered it would have been easier on the picker and packer.

Joel is right about that, I bought the Air Mag a couple years ago and its a beast and needs to be de tuned- its noisy and kicks ,most of the noise is coming through the stock when you shoot it though.

Amazon packaging could be better no doubt but the crosman blister pack seems to keep the tins safe and dent free. The only time I've had a real problem with pellets in the mail was unfortunately from a major gun and ammo distributor that decided to put 10 cans of H&N pellets in a padded envelope.

The 20 cans I received are all the older style red white and blue print (2022), not the 2023 version pictured on the website with the gold. They must still have leftovers stock piled.

Not worried at all I only by when there down and never going to run out. The domes only seem to come down once a year or so so I keep an eye out for them.
