Gotcha, I wonder if they over filled it at the paintball place. That could cause hammer lock. And just the variations in temperature between indoors and outside could be enough to cause the valve to lock/function if the tanks are overfilled just enough. EDIT! It just occurred to me that the gun...

Holy hell thats a lot of shots. I haven't tried tapping out my .30 King yet, but supposedly I should get around 100 full power shots. Fantastic rifle and nice shooting! What is that wrap you're putting on the tanks? Seems like a good idea to protect the glossy finish.

I have a Talon SS in .25 cal. Love it. It's simple, lightweight, plenty of power and VERY accurate in my experience.

To be honest the repair did not require degassing. I simply followed the instructions in the manual before disassembly because I'm new to the gun and did not know which component had failed.
