    Just weighed both the original and the want stock and here are the results. Original synthetic - 1080 grams. Walnut - 1420 grams. A big difference in weight but it feels a lot better in my opinion. Mark.

    Here are a couple more pics and a bit more info of the stock in progress. The walnut is from my local timber yard here in England, it's a nice American black walnut and does have some nice grain running through it. To answer a few questions, the scope is a Yukon photon 5x42 night vision...

    Just put the first coat of oil onto the bobcat stock, it's American black walnut and took me around 20 hours work so far to get it looking like this. Just the stippling and a few more coats of oil and it's finished. Mark.

    The gun you like the most and why.

    At the moment I'm enjoying using the fx bobcat .177 [/IMG][/URL] And also my Theoben MFR. 20 [/IMG][/URL] Both rifles are lovely too shoot and are under the uk power limit of 12ftlb. Mark.
