And there is a pin under the display as well supporting it from the bottom.

    Crosman 73

I had to come up with a way to display it without compromising the package so I came up with ty-wraps through the slots in the package and just pinned it up to see how well it works. I like the ty-wrap part but will need to use a small piece of wood that the ty wraps will be fastened to and the...

    Crosman 73

Well I have one that is not NIB so it’d be fun to do a pictorial and write up using that one. I’ll try to do it this week depending on if there’s time or not. Good idea!

    Crosman 761XL

Hello. Thank you for the information. Your 761s look very nice. The one I have looks exactly the same as yours. Self cocking, rectangular loading port, same wood and brass receiver. what differs is the barrel is not rifled and the front sight has no place for a hood. The rifle is in like new...

    ID vintage Crosman 760's?

I have a 761xl that is self cocking and I’ve very nice condition. It has a weird serial number though. It is 00000715. Does anyone know what that indicates? There are no numbers stamped on the pump tube cap. I was told it is late seventies possibly. it has a rectangular bb loading port not a...

    Crosman 761XL

Here is some of my Crosman collection as well as some various springers and one of my PCP rifles. after all is said and done, I still really like my multi pump guns. And well, I’ll never get rid of my springers they’re just too much fun!

    Crosman 761XL

Nice rifles! Did you look at the pics I posted of my 761XL? What can you tell me about it? I will take pics of my other Crosman rifles and post them too. Have a couple bolt action 760s and a self cocking 760. And a 760XL as well. I like them. Thanks for the post!

    Salvia springers

Mine is .177 and it is extremely accurate considering the price. These rifles are shooting way above their price point I think. mine shoots about 750 with jsb exact 8.4. I just picked it up in a whim about 7-8 years ago. Happy with it in .177. Have HW95 (R9) in .22 so I don’t feel like I’m...

    Crosman 761XL

When I get a chance I do plan on reaching out to Crosman to ask them more about this gun. It is definitely an odd duck as far as I can tell. Once I know more, I’ll post it here for people to read about. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Diana 350 magnum crown - is it normal?

Yep. I agree. All my other springers shoot much better and I have no trouble with accuracy with them. The Diana is hard and unforgiving to shoot. I never use it for hunting. For some reason I keep it around. Not sure why..

    Crosman 761XL

Thanks DualMagMike. That info really helped. I don’t know if this matters but this is a Canadian version. It must be from 78-81 like you suggested and I guess Canadian ones must not have come with rifled barrels. I had always thought rectangular loading ports were the first variant (760) style...

    ID vintage Crosman 760's?

For the wood stock one if you look on the cap on the end of the pump tube there will probably be 2 or 3 numbers. Like 167 for example. If so, I believe 167 would indicate January 1967. I have one like that and it has I8 on the cap. Still haven’t figured out what that means. hope that helps.

Diana 350 magnum crown - is it normal?

It sounds like you and I got the same rifle! When I got mine new, it shot horribly too. Also had a bad crown. I took it to a gunsmith and had the barrel shortened by about six inches and of course had it recrowned. That helped. Still was my harshest, least accurate rifle. Got a .22 barrel from...

sure love that Diana 350 mag

I have one and I like it. I put a Maccari spring in it and actually tuned it down a little. I couldn’t hit anything with it when it was new. If you want to practice your hold this is a good gun to get. Mine is super hold sensitive. Once I sorted out the best way to hold it, it is super accurate...

    Crosman 761XL

It’s a Canadian version. That must be why it is different.

    Crosman 761XL

I sure appreciate all the input regarding this rifle. I was not aware first variant 761s had a teardrop port. I would have thought it was the other way around. My first variant 760 has a rectangular one. I am aware that rifled barrels can be found for some of these but it would have to be one...

    Salvia springers

I agree. I kinda got the bug too and I’d have to say I like springers the most. Have all types and they are all fun but springers are tops for me.

    Salvia springers

I am not sure if they are still being made. I sure hope they are. if they aren’t, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick one up if you happen across one. Not just 634 but any Slavia pellet rifle.

That looks pretty nice! Anyone with a Slavia springer has a real gem of a rifle.
