Watch & Discuss the Benjamin Fortitude regulated

We had a Marauder (loved it) but it was just too bulky and heavy for my son (turning 9) to use so we ended up selling it to a friend and just using our Discovery. A lighter repeater would be great, and that Fortitude looks like a great option! Doesn't look like they've made it up to Canada yet.

Gorgeous! I'd love to put that to work on racoon control around the farm.

Blesbok (antelope) hunt with an FX Royale Arrow Gun - VIDEO

Your videos are top notch. Great job... and keep 'em coming! :-) Oh, and that Realtree baseball hat you're wearing there in SA is the same one I wear every day here in Canada. I find that amusing - it's a small world, indeed!

PCP for small frame shooter - with Canadian limitations

Hi Gang! My 7 year old son and I got into PCP air guns last year. We both love shooting pigeons and starlings around the farms we hunt. The only gun we have is a Gen1 Marauder .22. It has the accuracy and power that we need, but its waaay to big for my son to manage. Given his age he's...

Wither Goes The World of Air Gunnery ?

This is how I feel. I love the modern PCP air guns - they are wonderful things. But I have no interest in electronic anything on my rifle. I don't even like illuminated reticles in my scope. LOL And I agree with you, Neuces. There seem to be a whole lot of choices out there, in a market...

WAR "NBH" for Marauder - thoughts?

WOW! Sounds like a very sweet setup, Alan. I added a small pressure valve to my tank fill system and have confirmed the gauge on my Marauder is reading approximately 800psi low. Which means all this time I've been filling to about 2000psi and shooting down to maybe 1,000psi. I've got the...

WAR "NBH" for Marauder - thoughts?

OK, sounds like I should just "pass" on the NBH. I've got my Marauder shooting well, but only 15-18 decent shots with a 2,900psi start (on my gun's gauge) and velocity spread is fairly high. Accuracy is pretty much 1 hole at 25 yards but opens way up to about 1 1/2" at 50 yards, which was...

WAR "NBH" for Marauder - thoughts?

I see on the Wicked Air Rifles site they sell a "No Bounce Hammer" for the Marauder. From the site: The NBH Or No Bounce Hammer Is A Device That Replaces The Hammer In A 177/22/25 Cal. Benjamin Marauder PCP Air Rifle, It Almost Completely Eliminates Wasted Air And Noise Associated With...

Outstanding, as usual! Great footage and the drone camera angle really ads a nice touch at the start.

    Checking pressure gauge on PCP?

I'm going to get a replacement gauge for my gun (maybe a Dwyer) and also get a double check with another scuba gauge. It would make some sense if my gun gauge is reading quite a bit low, as many talk about 30-40 shots per fill but I'm only getting 15-20. I've also got WAY more fills from my...

    Checking pressure gauge on PCP?

I've been happily filling my .22 Gen 1 Marauder to about 2800psi on the gun's gauge and shooting down to around 1800-ish psi after 20 shots at +/- 27 fpe (sounds about right, I think). I have refilled my gun's reservoir about 45x from a 3500psi scuba tank and so figured I must be getting low on...

Backyard shooting too easy with PCP

My .22 Marauder is extremely accurate, but I'm too new at PCP's to call it boring! I've been sniping pigeons and the odd starling off an old silo at +/- 30 yards. The pigeons wise up pretty quick after I whack a few off the railing, then will mostly start landing on or in the silo and just...

It's hard being an airgunner in Louisiana!!!

Oh man, I wish I was there. Had a friend from LA do up a boil for us one April when we were all turkey hunting in OK. Darn fine eatin'!

    22 Marauder "again"

I think your chances are just fine. Mine is a Gen 1 in .22 with no modifications and it seems excellent. I haven't stretched it out yet since finding my tune, but it shoots JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr. very well (10 shots under a dime at 25yards) and H&N Hunter 18.21 almost as well (10 shots...

The High Cost of Air Rifles - Why?

I'm a long time firearms enthusiast and an air gun newbie. I don't think air guns are expensive, when you compare apples to apples. The inexpensive ($200-$300) rimfire PB's listed are all basic, entry level firearms so they can't be compared to a high end PCP. If you compare them to an entry...
