I think I've come to the end of the road with this build. After some testing with less than good results on higher magnification I've decided to stop. I will continue to develop the red dot camera. I've come up with a simpler design using an action camera.

Ive been having problems focusing the lens when I was installing it, so I gave up and got a USB-camera instead. I was able to order one with the 8mm lens installed from the factory. Ive also redesigned the hole setup.
