Not intentionally. But I’ve seen folks who’ve downed an animal with like 6-7 shots and post their “trophy” online where you can see gut shots and a missing jaw etc. They basically don’t realize they made the animal suffer and think down is just down regardless of how. Or some like to brag...

Is this why I was told to never shoot slugs out of a choked barrel? 

I view JSB and AA as interchangeable. Though I think I’ve grown to prefer AA over JSB tbh.

I was told choked barrels, which are a lot of Airgun barrels, should not shoot slugs when I ordered my LW barrel for my Mrod. I’ve tried H&N slugs with the stock barrel and didn’t notice any damage to anything but idk for sure.
