Take your cronograph apart if you can, put it in a plastic bag with, cover it with white rice, let it sit for a couple of days and hope for the best. This method worked for a cell phone I used to have. Skip
I have one I bought in 1990, cross hairs broke, sent it back for a replacement and I'm still using it on my Remington 700. Don't think I would risk mounting it on my springer though... Skip

Yeah I decided to go with the Stoeger Arms X50. It was well within my budget and had good reviews so I ordered it today. At 75 yards a .25 cal pellet drops about 23 - 24 inch and that's a lot of holdover I think. I can't wait to see what it can do. Skip
