    Tuning Your M3 Tunes Here

I would say that I have found other people's tuning parameters to be helpful as a starting point for me. But I think the focus should be on the velocity of the pellet and not necessarily on the tuning component. Now, I know that it has to be properly tuned to get the velocity but I have found...

What have you done with your airgun today?

I dispatched a couple of dozen very large green iguana, an invasive species in florida. My longest shot was 70 yards and I use both my 25 caliber and 30 caliber.

    Best Pellet Review Ever!

I just read the best pellet review I have ever seen. The author should be, well, an author. For a great laugh, you have to read this...

    Tuning Your M3 Tunes Here

I believe what's more important than tuning specs is pellet speed. Each manufacturer and weight has a sweet spot for a certain velocity. If I can get that, I can tune my M3 to that velocity myself. For example, if I know that the h&n hunter in .25 caliber does best at 890 ft per second, then I...

What have you done with your airgun today?

Finally got that pesky coyote that has been killing my friendly bunny rabbits (and a few chickens). Head shot at 65 yards with the FX Impact in .30 caliber and the Pulsar Thermion 2 XP50 thermal scope. Pretty much dropped him in his tracks.

    Tuning Your M3 Tunes Here

Is there a sweet spot with regard to feet per second, in general for different calibers and pellets? I guess what I am asking, is ballistically speaking, do pellets perform best at certain speeds. I know it's a broad question but it would be nice for a starting point on tunes. For example, is a...

    AEA Terminator .30 caliber

I have been trying to limit calibers to make life a bit simpler with respect to stocking pellets and standardizing performance. I am settling on .25 caliber as it seems to meet pretty much all my needs. I have used it to dispatch targets as large as a coyote (clean kill with a head shot) and...

    AEA Terminator .30 caliber

I just got the AEA Terminator in 30 caliber. This was a replacement for a bullpup that was having a bunch of problems. The rifle is a beast and I can't believe how hard it hits. It's actually more than I need so I'm going to sell it. Wonder if anybody else has had experience with the 30 caliber...

    Seven Rats today, after work...

That's definitely the heat signature from the pellet passing through the rat. But even if I miss, it leaves that same white dot so I think it's just the heat signature that is left by the heat generated from the pellet when it strikes the surface

    Tuning Your M3 Tunes Here

I may have posted this twice and if I did, I apologize. Still getting used to posting on the forum: Shooting with the .25 caliber FX Impact M3 600mm barrel. For all three of the following pellets, the first reg is at 150, the second reg is at 110 and the front valve is at 11.4 mm (whatever...
