Like Brian pointed out, I would suggest a 12mm lens as well. However, I have done some tests with the stock lens and the results were good enough for me. All I had to do was zoom in, in post production. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am using a DIY mount. I am able to adjust the distance...

Yes and No. The Burris has a range finder build in, but it also has a ballistics calculator build in...

It should work on an air rifle just like it does on a "regular" rifle... as long you can enter all the ballistics info manually. Weight, velocity and BC. The only issue I have is that the minimum focus is 50 meters/yards. That does not work for me... Did you check out the Burris Eliminator III...
