The problem with that is the magazine is stuck in so I have nowhere to push the pellets

New to rifle. Think i got pellets jammed. Magazine won’t come out and cocking lever will not move more than half way forward. I don’t want to force anything. Not sure but cocking lever might not have been all the way forward when i turned the knob at the rear. how do i clear this? thanks

I see in my wildcat directions say to only adjust the rear wheel when it is uncocked. my question is what is uncocked position? cocking lever forward after the pellet is shot or with the cocking lever back

I would suggest a marauder in 22 and a 400 dollar pump. That is a solid inexpensive entry into the field. Baby the compressor and it will last you for the near future. as with any hobby once you get into it you will find what interests you and you can go from there. have fun

Is there any downside to using a 3 ft hose with these cheap compressors?

My main hesitancy for passing up the impact is the noticeable decrease in shot count. Oh well. Maybe they will create a mod that improve that in time. As you have pointed out the simplicity is an advantage. Might even prove a little less delicate than the impact because I do not baby my equipment.

Thanks everybody for suggestions.I ended up ordering a wildcat 3 compact 25. My decision was made easier by the fact that virtually none of the other choices in 25 I checked out were available in the US without an unknown waiting period. Hope I am happy with the results.

Mostly I am only shooting between 50-100 ft. I would like to go to a 25 in order to dispatch the squirrels quicker. I know they are just pests but I prefer to see them suffer as little as possible.
