Alright it has been almost 20 hours and still hasn't dropped below 2000psi even with the sub 40degree weather we are having so Teflon tape did the trick and I appreciate the help fellas. Glad I joined up

Teflon tape seems to be working so far, what a relief it's not fun pumping a gun up to go hunting the next day then having to pump it up again in the morning without having even touched the gun.
