This is definitely backyard friendly with the STO Accipiter shooting the JSB 15.89gr pellets at 909fps. The STO products are pretty awesome. I find the short, factory STO insert great when hiking and hunting on the move. It is quiet for it's length but not backyard friendly.

Pretty typical performance for 5 round groups at 40 yards in good conditions shot prone. I was shooting 15.89gr JSBs in my reduced power EVOL 22.

I have really enjoyed my Maverick! It started out as a .30 Sniper but has spent most of it's time as a .25 Compact. After some blue thread locker in a couple places it has been 100%. It is quiet too pushing the JSB 25s at 920fps.

The DonnyFL .22-.25 Koi works great on my .25 Maverick Compact. It is noticeably quieter than my .30 Sumo and .30 Shogun.

I have shot my Maverick in 25 compact and 30 sniper configurations. I really enjoy the 25 compact. It is very handy, better shot count, quiet for it's power, and a great compromise caliber.
