Have Benjamin Trail, not bad for 22 near however scope needed replacement shortly due to the general impact of piston. For what you paid you are ahead even if you have to replace scope. Good luck

Just my two cents, naturally it should not be to that extreme to adjust. I would replace to original forward position, check the sight is not out of alignment and matches up together.

Basically the requirements are to keep the decibels somewhere in the 60-80db range. Tough requirement given the parameters of sniping TR. May try a custom moderator with adapter to the 397. Email a couple with the db requirements, may save some $ and fulfill your needs.
