    Watch this Guy......

PayPal is terrible, I only use their invoice service, not PayPal themselves. Your CC is the one that will retrieve your money if scammed, not PayPal !! By using the invoice, the seller does not have your CC information !

Friendly reminder to clean your barrel

Classic example of why I have been using beeswax spray for the past 35 years on my pellets and to clean my barrel. Can't remember the last time I saw any crud and lead coming out of my barrel.

    Watch this Guy......

The only way I buy ( or sell) is to have the seller send me a PayPal invoice for the item. I pay the invoice with my guaranteed CC so if a sale goes bad I have recourse. So does the seller if I cheat them. Most scammers won't send an invoice because they know they will be exposed. Never lost...

    Airgun owners vs firearm owners

50/50 here, both firearms and airguns. Can shoot both in my own yard. I do prefer the airguns because I don't have to clean them like my powder burners.

    Trouble!

If you have anyway to check them in person please do so.. I have saw many of the same make and model have different clarity at distance !! Spotting scopes the same issue. When I bought my spotting scope, the local Cabela's was kind enough to setup 6 scopes together and had small business...

    N/A Springer Accuracy?

It means different things to different people....in the older days, hitting a pop can was accurate. Then as guns improved man created targets to shoot at. I can remember hitting one inch at 25 yes was accurate !! Then years later it was dime size at 25 yds. Today we expect dime size at 40...

    Hw97 .20 experiences

Way to much trouble, if the barrel droops just bend it back into position. Did a good number during my tuning days. In an hour or less, you can be right on the money.

    Diana D75 up and running.

My eyes need the scope even though the diopter sight isnt to bad. The neighbors don't want me shooting holes in there barns.....lol....even if I did miss, the power is low enough no real damage will occur, but it will stop critters dead in their tracks with the precision shots you can make with...

    Beeman Beeman R1 history question

When I built my custom R1 in .22, some 25 years back, the carbine barrels were not to be found anywhere so I cut mine. Took a little over 3" off, removing the choke. Turned out to be an awesome move as the rifle became a tack driver. Custom tuned with a Macarri spring and a now deleted seal...

    Diana D75 up and running.

I lost my peeps years back, I live in the country and have a few neighbors ( farmers) that need birds, snakes and other small pests needing gone in their barns. The 75 is perfect for such a job and my little 2-7x32 scope is perfect for my tired old eyes. Power is just right for indoor pest control.

Air Arms Has anyone ever tried this with a ProSport?

That is because the velocity is controlling the piston timming when it reaches bottom. Your hold sensativity can be part of the timming being off. Do you feel a harsh thump at the end of the shot cycle ? Often high velocities are the result of a piston bottoming out when the shot is on the...

Air Arms Has anyone ever tried this with a ProSport?

Feel, experience and experimenting. Takes time and patience but most are just in a big hurry. After doing the timming enough times you get a feel for it. Piston bottoming out creates a harsh thud at the end of the stroke that can jar your teeth when the rifle is shouldered. Bounce is when...

Air Arms Has anyone ever tried this with a ProSport?

The original TX200 MK 1 were all 12 ft lb, then when rhe MK2 came out there were long stroke comp tubes and pistons availiable for the FAC versions. I actually had the first true factory left handed MK1 that came to the US. When the MK 3 came about it was onky imported in the FAC version to...

Air Arms Has anyone ever tried this with a ProSport?

At the time, the US demanded a higher powered version as we were power crazy. AA was not fond ofvthe idea but wanted the bigger sales. I was an AA dealer at that time. My TX rubs at 15 fp and smooth as silk, you cand stand pellets on the cap and shoot all day without them comming off. Get...

    Tuning Cutting Springs

Just wave it around for a minute or two to get the worst heat out, then quench to finnish. Some guys don't bother polishing the ends of the spring but I always have and found longer life from it, but to each his own..
