FWB Does the FWB 124 have a Walnut stock?

Exactly. They probably sold one walnut gun for every 1000 deluxe versions. i remember buying mine in 1980 ish. It was about 180-200 dollars. I could barely afford that let alone a walnut stock one..

    Air Arms too heavy

I tried heavy pellets in my spring guns with poor results . I used to shoor a lot of 22-250 and hand loaded everything. I tried heavy bullets over 55 grains and they would group terribly. I tried a 70 grain bullet and it hit the target sideways. the rifle couldn't spin the bullet enough to...

So far not so great… Im going to try again next week. I have a few other projects to work on. I’m probably going to take it apart again and try and size the seal or pop in the old one . Give the barrel a good cleaning. I was able to get one decent group after I through a scope on it. But...

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

Dieseling , I don’t believe so. I have heard a dieseling gun before . I put a tin or 2 of pellets through it since the rebuild about 2 years ago. I moved and everything was a mess for awhile. I’ve been working on some other Airguns recently. So I took it out of the case and shot this video. It’s...

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

I have the new pg-4 kit and the new cocking shoe for the R 1 ( mandatory to use the new style cocking shoe with the vortek kits) it will be interesting to see the difference in velocity’s . i have a baseline from the R1 but it was never opened up in 43 years. The gun was totally neglected

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

Guys thank you "ALL" for all the insight... I am always interested in reading and learn about all this stuff. it is an R-7 with limited power to begin with. I will either shoot it 1000 shots or maybe take it apart and resize the seal.. Kind of leaning toward shooting it a lot.. one of the...

The vac seal was snug. Not to snug though. Did you size your seal on your gun…?

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

Well there is the 70+ fps I was looking for. I didn’t size the seal. But the cocking effort feels tha same from the old spring to the new vortek spring. Maybe after 500-1000 shots it will pick up a few fps. But I’m not sure it will.
