And I'm getting rid of all the others in my inventory.

    Longevity in an Air Rifle

Yes. I'm still here reading what is posted after I said "it's as easy as that folks" and someone comes back saying I'm full of it. As far as I'm concerned you are full of it and know not enough to know the right questions about sending a pellet downrange. Now my next question is why you are...

    Longevity in an Air Rifle

I ordered one in Covid 19 period never to receive it due to "delays" by Diana wanting to drill out .22 barrels FIRST while I wanted a .177. The Pro Air King .177 was fronted by .22 and the .22s in Red Laminate arrived over here split in half at the pistol grip requiring Diana to replace them...

    Diana Air Rifle Recommendations?

I don't sign "kindly" anymore because of your own language. I know what I know and anytime you want to visit me here with any of your own air rifles and shoot my own we'd probably see eye to eye and heart to heart. The arguing about my input is moot until you see me in person doing what I am...

    Longevity in an Air Rifle

This is the man who made my first D54 .20 and he is supposed to be working on another for me. He said, "Send no money." It is his protocol for the rifle to arrive at my doorstep and for me to try out. As soon as that is done I send the paycheck. No payment plans or stretching of his time and...

    Theoben Crusader on Ebay

The best Theoben was the Eliminator and I've had Crow Magnums as well, but the Eliminator was the last word on Gas Ram for me since 1999. I still have ONE left over from those days, I had all three in all calibers and sold the .22. I gave away the .20 to an army Chief for his birthday. I kept...

    Diana Air Rifle Recommendations?

I like the D54 and HW98 as "Best" overall. They are the simpler solution to getting it right from the start without extra "tuning" or "garage mechanical tuning by beginners" done with Vortex installations and kits and macaroni. You don't want cheese installations after HW makes a rifle.

RWS 54 - Day At The Range

The D54 is heavy and for most not the rifle to hike across the woods and creeks with hills. But if you really wanted to hunt properly making the first shot count the D54 tuned to your pellet and optical sight in recoilless mounts will perform beyond PCP accuracy and longevity. Add consistency.

Took the Diana 54 out to 100 yards today

Jeeze, I got demerits from the moderators who don't know me. They took away 3 accuracy points and now I want to wonder who they are invested in to make this blog site that had CORN PONE.

Took the Diana 54 out to 100 yards today

I never shoot an air rifle sitting or prone or stabilized even with a wall behind me. I just wait till the crosswires on the scope waver to the zero and figure the trigger at the "right" moment. But I know the D54 is capable of accuracy at 100 yards easily in the right pellet and scope and...

    Longevity in an Air Rifle

We can't ignore this and the heavy .20 JSB is ACCURATE at LONG RANGE to punch holes of some type of energy and velocity not measure there on the 105 yard mark! However, I think Hector knows the range of the JSB .20 Exact REGULAR weight pellets for match shooting around 40 yards and such WITH...

    Longevity in an Air Rifle

I saw this in my email again and wanted to reassure anyone that the most expensive optics for air rifles are NOT needed. If you can SEE and find INTEGRITY in optics you've reached Swarovski and all others WITHOUT the extra cost. The problem is to find a clear scope with integrity. Hector...

    First try with break barrel

Well, Sir Alderman! You took that break barrel springer to lunch and impressed me! Now it is time for you to become an addict like me for springer break barrels!

Looking to buy a Weihrauch HW97K in .25 caliber - wise choice?

This is a nice topic to revisit! I do love .25s of all types in all velocities; owning more .25s than .22s! My first .25 was an underlever from Webley and it was not the highest velocity performing .25 by most standards but it had incredible accuracy once the "drop" was figured out. The...

    Exceeded my expectations!

Dear Solo, I have HWs and a D54 with other types of air rifles and "trigger side to side" movement I always noticed and wondered about. However, many of my "sloppier" triggers in this instance didn't affect performance or accuracy. I say forget about the side/side movement because it allows...

    What is this?

I gotta ask, if the rifle was cleaned by a solvent or other cleaning agent near the breech where solvent and bluing meet to create "orange" rather than rust?
