Yes lots of options so appreciate the help. Prefer but not absolute... Magazine fed, short rifle or bullpup, 4500 psi, 3-5 good shots, $2000 including moderator, 2 inch group at 100 yards, US made or at least tuned n tweeked by US business.

Love my 22 flashpup, shoots 1 inch groups at 50 yards. Will give that consideration.

100 yards max. Looking for uber accurate one shot kills. Even with hundreds of target rounds and a ballistic calculating digital scope, I'm still going to keep shots under 100.

I thought the Arkansas 40 cal and 400 fpe regulation was excessive, so am surprised the hear the .457 Bulldog wouldn't be allowed anywhere. I guess some states still think these are "toys".

Great advice there, could it be applied to the .457 Bulldog also? I'm also a bit gunshy of the Pitbull prices.

Dont want to hijack this thread but I'm also shopping for a big bore deer rifle. Arkansas demands 40 cal and 400 fpe. Budget is $2k and I'm leaning toward .457 Texan SS CF or Pittbull Commander. Comments please!
