What is your Opinion of SWFA SS Fixed Power Scopes

I have a SWFA 16x on a Walther LGU and a 12x on my Diana 54, both with the MIL-QUAD reticle. I like both scopes and so far, prefer the 16x. The spacing between the hash marks and diamonds in the 16x make the reticle a little easier to use. Yes, the 16x is sensitive to eye position, but on a...

HW/Weihrauch Walnut hw97 are in at aoa...

After watching their website for a few months, I noticed early last week that AOA finally had .20 blue laminates in stock, so I ordered one.....then yesterday I saw this thread. I had totally missed there was a walnut stock option. My rifle was due to ship out today, but I phoned AOA this...

Scope mount recommendation for Walther LGU-droop or no droop?

One BKL Triple Strap (Low) in front and one BKL Double Strap (Low) rear. I am totally happy with this scope mount combo. The thumb clearance is a little tight, but doable.

Name all the possible tunes that you could do to make a springer better.

With PB rifles, often the shooter is the limiting factor. If the rifle will already outperform the shooter as it comes from the factory, then it would be inefficient and expensive to replace a barrel, add a tuner, and have the stock professionally bedded vs. shooting the rifle a bunch to...

Wow, this thread went to a dark place.

    recoil reducer on springer ?

Whether or not the device works as advertised, a recoil reducer adds to the overall weight of the rifle. Anything that adds to the overall weight of a rifle serves to reduce recoil. I sent you a PM.

Name all the possible tunes that you could do to make a springer better.

If a person spends any time on PB forums like Rimfire Central, like I do, they will find an amazing number of posts where someone is looking to purchase or has purchased a decent or high end rifle, and they start a thread, "What barrel, trigger, chassis, improvements should I make to my new...

Name all the possible tunes that you could do to make a springer better.

Polishing the ends of the springs and deburring to allow the spring to rotate is missing.

    50 yard springer guys

This was a used target that I grabbed from the target shack that already had three large holes in it, before I began shooting. 75 yards, 25 shots, Walther LGU .177, AADF 8.4's I had to chip ice out of the holes where the target frames mount at our 75 yard line to set up the target. It was...

Have Walther spring piston been discontinued?

The mold for casting the trigger housing wore out, and Umarex didn't believe there was enough demand for the LGU/LGV series to justify building a new mold. See comment number 4: https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/what-is-the-reason-that-walther-has-discontinued-the-lgv-and-lgu-air-rifles/ I...

Are BKL mounts supposed to fit loosely and be tightened…a lot?

If the rings slide easily onto the dovetail of your rifle, you don't have to worry about spreading the rings BKL's are made to be used with both 3/8" and 11mm dovetails. On some 11mm dovetails one will have to spread the rings slightly to get them to slip on. Some folks have trouble...

    Double Vision (Theoben SLR Longs)

That's a beautiful pair indeed. Very nice wood on the lefty (and not bad on the righty either).

    Very nice groups at 50!

    TX200 .177?

That is a beautiful target for sure. Accurate AND precise. You certainly didn't make it easy for yourself (springer rifle, 10-shot group, 50 meters, .177 pellets). Wow!

What does 1 minute-of-angle AVERAGE look like?

Very nice targets! I would be very happy if I had results like that with my .22 LR match rifle.

So…who thinks they have the most accurate springer?

I'm not claiming to have the most accurate springer, but groups like this keep me hoping. The left group is 10 shots at 50 yards and the right group is 9 shots at 50. These are my two best so far, but my average 10-shot groups are just over an inch at 50 for all three types of pellets I have...
