Placing the order today as well as 2 tins of hollow points. It'll take a little over a week for the gun to get here but I'm pumped (pun intended) to get my hands on this gun and start shooting. I've kept doing research and I'm still sticking by the nitro venom dusk. Reviews are a little shakier...

When is ted's holdover video's coming back?

Funny enough, your videos and some family influence is what has sparked the fire for air rifles. I've watched all of your videos twice already and am watching them for a 3rd time as I prepare to start seriously straining my wallet on buying and upgrading rifles. I love this forum and your...

Lol exactly my reasoning behind choosing them when the Crosman Premiers weren't listed!

I've found some Benjamin hollow points that have nothing but good reviews, people who even own the Nitro Venom Dusk swear it's one of the best pellets to use. I guess I've found at least a contender. If I don't get good results with the Benjamin, I'll find some Crosman hollow points

http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/crosman-nitro-venom-dusk-air-rifle?repChildCatid=1065086 This is what I've decided to go with. Any recommendations on pellets? It'll be a little bit less then the $160 tag, still more then I initially wanted to spend but after reading some advice you guys gave, I...

This is the gun I've chosen. I said what the heck and took the extra step. No sure when I'll be able to order it but I haven't seen a bad thing about this gun and it seems to be a slimmer design compared to the Optimus. Thanks for all the advice guys! I look forward to what this forum brings me...

See now I'm looking at the Phantom. I'm just not sure what I want. $110 is what I'm comfortable spending, $130 is the absolute most I wanna spend right now

That's a good point but odds are I'll keep whatever I do end up getting. I just have to figure out exactly what I wanna do

Well I don't want to go too high end with it. It's just gonna be small game and target shooting. I'm passing my other gun to my brother to teach him how to shoot and respect any form of gun/rifle. I've looked at the higher end guns and I would love to own one of those, I'd rather get something a...

    Lucky bird

Would've been a great shot too. Birds never seem to run out of luck

The Optimus is about the top end of my budget. I don't wanna go too high end when I'm just getting started. I'm looking on academy since I've got a gift card and the Hornet is about $10 less than the Optimus which is at $110. The only difference I can see is that the Hornet will be lighter and...

As the title says, I'm new to the forum and come from Robeson county NC. I've been enjoying air rifles since I was 13 but am looking to take the next step. I wanna start hunting with them. The one that I have that is still able to shoot isn't strong enough to take out anything bigger then a...
