PCP's? Not sure what they are. I think you my be correct. It feels and sounds so different when I shoot it I feel like something is wrong. We'll see how the rabbits and squirrels fare this weekend.

Mine is a RWS Diana Model 52. They are now discontinued.

They group well but make the rifle sound completely different. It sounds like it is straining to lob those heavy pellets. I worry they are too heavy for the rifle and won't have the energy at 30-40 yards to take small game. I will try it this weekend and see the results. 

I have a RWS rifle that is advertises a muzzle velocity of around 1100 fps. Someone at a pellet rifle repair business suggested I use heavy pellets for a rifle with that much velocity. They recommended and I purchased 10.5 grain Crossman Premier pellets. I have not measured the velocity but...
