N/A Recommendations for small/light pest gun?

I'd keep a Beeman P3 pistol handy for the really close ones. Understand the hesitance to get in the PCP game, I jumped in ~ 3 years ago after 5 years of tempation. No regrets.

N/A Least problematic air rifle brand for newbies

+1 for simpler guns like the Air Arms S series, Veteran, AGT Vulcan, Weihrauch 100.

    HW/Weihrauch The hw44 - how’s it aged?

Mine still shoots great 1.5 years of now occasional use. 1st shot always dead on, no issues whatsoever

    Lucky? group-R9 30 yards

I agree that is a nice group at 30 yards for the R9

Is there one gun to do both FT and Benchrest thats entry level?

The AGT Vulcan 3 in .177 with the 500mm barrel is my bench and HFT gun. Very accurate with JSB 13.4 diabolos. More $ (less at Krale) but worth a look.

    Springer <--> PVP <--> Springer

Agree with most of the themes above. Give yourself time to sort it out. Took me a few years to settle in with a range of guns that manage my affliction. Springers for plinking, target shooting, general sanity. Love the HW77, Air Arms TX200 PCP for critter control, field target, bench rest...

    Mixing pellets across tins?

Probably. IMO you hit diminishing returns after sorting for head size with a pellet gager and checking skirts. At least on the better pellets like the AA below. I tried the premium grade and didn't see the value. I think it had a lot # - should have for the $. Good luck!

Looking to add to my airgun collection

For the pistol shooter and close up stuff it is hard to beat the HW44. I shoot mine more than anything else, amazing accuracy out to 25, even 40 yards. More than a few threads on the air pistol forum. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/hw44-fast-as-i-can.1272177/ Now shooting a 2x Burris...

    Shooting the HW44 today

Somehow I don't have a tin so I'll have to order some. I'm sure I had the old version, they were nothing special on 4 guns I ran them through. I did find a tin worth another go...ran a few 5 shot groups of Baracuda Match from the 10 m line, quite pleased with them considering the ladder rest...

    Shooting the HW44 today

Very nice. Need to give those a try, I have one or three of the old tins. My HW44 is hogging down the Hades, probably time for a change in diet so it doesn't grow another bulge on the grip.

TX200 Another personal best at 50 feet.

Very nice card. Not so easy with a springer. Have not tried the 10.3's in my TX200 yet, it likes the 8.4 in 4.52, 4.53

Price to fill an air tank.

2 shops, 1 goes to 4500 in < 5 minutes for $5, the tank then settles back around 4100. The other takes over an hour to stick it at 4500 for $12. Most of my shooting is low power so either way a tank lasts me a long time.

    Red Loctite Why?

Yes purple works for just about anything an airgun will ever need. I put the soldering gun tip on the bolts.

    The Three Amigos

Nice lineup. Cleared out several with my .25 vet over the last month, now watching the survivors turn into lunkers. I might have to nab one more before he takes out a dog or cat.

    Is the 20 caliber dead?

HW is still making them. I think the schedule calls for 2 guns to be made every Monday with a crescent moon, as long as it isn't raining, over sixty degrees, or an odd numbered date. Hence the very long lead time. AoA just received a few last week. Picked this up early September.

    Show your Sheridan

Yep. Owned it for over 40 years, still shoots great for what it is. And it has, by a wide margin, the highest critter count of any gun I have owned

Saber Tactical cheek riser FX Impact

Cleaning up around the shop...found this. NOTE: It has a minor issue. One of the screws is stripped at the hex head, threads in mounting plate are fine. I was going to replace with quality hardware, never did, forgot I had it when I sold the gun. $30 shipped CONUS, Paypal f&f preferred.

AGT Vulcan 3 or FX Maverick Compact

+1 for Vulcan 3. Mine ( .177 500mm) is quiet and dead on every time I pick it up, no warm up shot required. Owned and sold 3 impacts, miss them on occasion but not enough to trade.
