With a given velocity and the same pellet, won't the penetration be the same no matter what gun it is? This isn't an accuracy test it's just ballistics. In comparing different guns, what's the point of this?

Are these guns really that good to deserve all the hype? Are they considered to be some of the better break barrels available?

The barrel band on the pRod only holds tight onto the air tube and not the shroud. The band actually doesn't touch the shroud at all, is this normal? Isn't the band there to support the shroud? Is there any reason that the band should not at all be touching the shroud?

I've found ammo from the mid 80's that still shot well enough for its intended purpose. Keep it stored properly and it'll last longer than you think.

You could line one of these with rubber mat and have sound reduction and not worry about potential bounce back. Best of both.

 I know you've had pretty much every airgun possible, but have you actually had one of these? I didn't know that there was a PCP with its own pump built-in. 

And the after: I love it. This transforms the pRod into an entirely different feeling gun. I'm going to do a little more shaping to the right side of the hand grip to give it a better feel in the right hand. Hopefully I'll get to that this weekend.

Looking good as it was but I like all of the edges to be soft and rounded. I went over everything really well and then finished with some Watco exterior with a little bit of dye mixed in. Looking good, right now it's drying and will be installed tomorrow.

Not sure what the factory tune was but it was a solid performer out of the box. My new TW stock shows being delivered today! Tonight, I'm hoping to get it all sanded and smoothed to my liking and then do whatever is necessary before finishing it. 😏

Just ordered another barrel band, if nothing else for the feels good. I'm also going to try out a couple different moderators to compare. Also, maybe I need to bore the one out that I'm using now. Easy enough to try. This prod is so ridiculously quiet with one installed that I'd greatly...

Talk about a bunch of grumpy old men. He was a pretty helpful guy and always kind to me. When you guys are doing something that someone else finds odd, I hope they show a little more compassion than you show to others.
