    Huben HB35 hand pump

Thanks for the detailed reply! The engineering sounds great, and it is good to know that the O-ring specs are in the manual and parts are available.

    Huben HB35 hand pump

I hand-pump all my airguns and have been intrigued by the Huben pump for some time, but unwilling to spend the $ without hearing enough to know whether it would be significantly better than the two generic Chinese pumps I use now. Your review is greatly appreciated. I have a few questions: 1...

Filling a pcp using a hand pump

Same here, I rotate between two hand pumps after 40 strokes or so. Keeps the pumps cool.

How does blocking new members from participating help Airgun Nation?

I posted a WTB ad for a particular gun on another popular site and immediately received a pm from someone who said he had an "immaculate" one he would sell for what would be a quite reasonable price. When I asked for more details and photos he said he couldn't figure out how to post photos on...

Question for Huben hand pump owners

Thanks, WorriedMan. I may be hijacking my own thread, but here's the story with my compressors: I bought a "Spiritech" brand cheap generic Chinese waterless compressor -- the small orange one that is marketed under a variety of different names. It soon pooped out (failed to make pressure). After...

Question for Huben hand pump owners

I'm seeking information from any of you who have owned or used a Huben hand pump. They look well-made and compact. But are they, in your experience, any more efficient or reliable than the ubiquitous generic Chinese hand pumps that cost so much less? I hand-pump most of my PCPs, alternating...

    Crosman Challenger leak

The pressure gauge on mine looks like the photograph above. I can't tell whether there's a washer in there or not. Mine doesn't leak, but I did note that the manual advises the owner to tighten that gauge...

    Crosman Crosman Challenger 2021 hand-pumpable?

I realize the OP decided to get a compressor, but in case anyone else ponders the question in the title thread: yes, the 2021 Challenger is a very good candidate for hand-pumping. Pumping mine from 1000 to 3000 psi (maximum fill) is really no problem -- and I'm not big, or strong, or young.

Beginner help needed - please be nice - air rifle .177

You mentioned the Crosman Challenger 2021 (model number, not year of manufacture). Good choice! I just bought a used one from a member here (thanks again, igolfat8). It is extremely accurate and easily hand-pumped to 3000psi and uses air very sparingly.

    Just fun

I'm old and pedantic and I like the way that English and American English are constantly changing.
