    Co2 pistol S&W M-29 sticking trigger return.

Sorry, it’s been a while, but to answer your question the stoning and polishing did wonders. The moving parts on these co2 M-29 S&W revolvers are just like the originals. After the hand work mine is now crisp, lite, and smooth. Even double action pull is half of what it was. If you...

Co2 revolvers machining marks on the cylinders from the factory, why?

Hello again, I hope the photos show the lathe marks on the cylinders of most of these repro co2 revolvers that wasn’t polished off. The flutes are highly polished but the chamber exterior is not, and that is the basis for this question. First notice in the pics that the Colt SAA is...

Cocking trouble with my new Benjamin Akela

I would file the head and maybe the tip of the flat screw down some to reduce its height before the bolt closes when cocking the rifle. Then use locktite when you replace it. Like you, I’ll do almost anything to avoid sending it back as you never know what new problem to expect. As...

    Co2 pistol S&W M-29 sticking trigger return.

Hello, Has anyone else found that the trigger/hammer return spring on this revolver is too weak to cycle the action for the next shot? If I push the trigger forward after each shot it will function, but if I don’t the cylinder will not rotate and just discharge again on the empty cylinder...

    Avenger issues??

Great discussion about quality, function, and lifespan. I mod all of my pcp’s and the end product of the work done with my 25cal avenger ranks it among the best in all respects. The cheap receiver continues to work as designed. I am at a loss as to just why people continue to rag on...

    PayPal! Beware...

Pay Pal only benefits the seller and Pay Pal. Some better respected sellers websites still accept PP only, or if there is a choice it’s very difficult to override PP. In these cases when my only choice is PP I send the seller a personal comment to complain and suggest that they upgrade...

    Cleaning PCP baffles

Solvent works but is can be messy. If you have ever been a powder burner reloader then you might have a vibrating media cleaner for cleaning cases. It really is the solution for your task. They are cheap and if you have more than one pcp baffled air gun it might be worth the investment.

    Cayden velocity drop

Been a while since I checked velocity but as it is still set now at full venturi opening with cut hammer spring as last crhoned it would be between 880fps and 940fps at around 920fps average as last recorded. I can retest. I won’t say that this is the best it can do but I consistently...

    Cayden velocity drop

I understand your shot count records and I see their importance, but I am more focused on the sweet spot numbers where I get the velocity and accuracy that I’m looking for. So far that seems to be full power setting from 2600psi down to 2000psi.

    Cayden velocity drop

Mine suffers similar results as the pressure changes in the gun and daily temps vary. Mine likes full power setting and tube pressure between 2600psi and 2000psi and above or below that things become erratic. I plan to ad a regulator for those reasons.

Tuning Newbie, looking to get into pcp,

Many good choices out there and I’m sure you will pic a good one. As I see it depending on a hand pump to satisfy your needs is the first mistake people make and you should be looking also at a compressor around$350. Hand pumping can turn you sour quickly if you shoot a lot. Personally...

Need help removing Akela hammer spring

Im with you. I have had my hammer spring out previously and if I remember correctly the hammer slid out with it. As I too plan to ad a regulator I’ll keep watching closely.

    Diana Bandit AR conversion

Just an update. The Bandit carbine is now complete with the 16”bbl from Airguns/Archery fun that replaced the pistol bbl. Knowing how rough factory bbls can be I lapped the bore and polished the crown with a cratex tool before installing it. My results are mixed but fyi I found that...

The Mysterious BC compliments of Ted

Airgun Nation Admin, Watching your YouTube videos and digesting the high velocity testing that you are doing I can only say thank you for what you are doing. Like you I have discovered that velocity is not the enemy of accuracy. People seem to measure bc mostly for lower velocity...

Tuning Help, Avenger shoots to the right!

SL58, No question that a finely crowned muzzle as pictured is desirable for fine accuracy. But it seems your problem is more severe. Being an early re-pac yours seems to share the same symptoms as my 25cal had; accurate shots but WAY off center. So bad that the scopes just ran out...

Tuning Help, Avenger shoots to the right!

I will also ad that I had to replace the factory scope rails on mine with an aftermarket metal pic rail. This was because I ran out of adjustment and the new rail solved that problem.

Tuning Help, Avenger shoots to the right!

Lots of suggestions here about your unusual problem. I’m wondering if something called “muzzle hop” could be the culprit, usually caused by an imperfection near the muzzle. If it weren’t for the transfer port alignment you could rotate the bbl 180degrees and see if the group moves to the...

Favorite .25 Cal. Which one is yours and why?

Keeping it short I have many pcp’s but only this one Avenger in 25cal with many mods. If you want to put a toe in the water with 25cal you should be pleased with one of these in all respects.

    Diana Bandit AR conversion

Im interested in that 16” bbl also but when I do a Google search all I find is Facebook pages for ArcheryFun. Is there a website?

    Akela .177 Shot String

E, Your input and work with hammer springs on Caydens and Akela’s was spot on, and after trimming mine I was also able to increase my shot count while keeping my velocity above 900fps by adjusting the venturi with both 177 and 22cal. That was important to me as I shoot 75yds so I need the...
