    FX FX Tuning Moderator

700mm superior heavy. I did clean the barrel quite often when I first got it but now it’s broke in good and I haven’t cleaned it for a long time.

    FX FX Tuning Moderator

It actually saves me ammo. I quickly hone in where I want my fps. Get that consistent. Then I give the shroud tuner some quick turns and see what groups look like. If you don’t have that you’ll be wasting more ammo changing your fps tiny amounts trying to find the accuracy node.

    FX FX Tuning Moderator

Pretty impressed with the tuning moderator from FX. I finally put a power block and tungsten hammer in my m3 to push H&N .25cal 40gr slugs a little fast. After the changes while my fps went up, so did the violence of the gun which changed the accuracy nodes. Changed the tuner positions and now...

    .25 Javelin Slugs?

Oh absolutely I already have lol. Still shooting great. Just curious because I wanted to try some. Went prairie dog hunting during a warm period with h&n 40gr and was hitting them out to 175 yards consistently. Further than that it took multiple shots to get on target. I hit one way out around...

    .25 Javelin Slugs?

Anybody know when these will be available? I know I saw them teased in a vid and I’ve been waiting ever since.

    Tuning Fx impact m3

Start with final reg at 120-130, micro adjuster 4.25, macro 16, valve all the way out. Fine adjust from there to get things consistent.

    200 yard groups

I just used what Strelock had for the slugs I’m shooting. It says 0.1200. It was really close.

    200 yard groups

Decided to see what my setup could do at 200 yards. See what groups, if they grouped at all, looked like and see how accurate StrelokPro is that far out. Setup: M3 impact no power block, stock hammer (no slug power kit), 700mm .25 cal superior heavy liner, nsa pin probe, H&N Heavy .249 40gr...

    Slugs is a Dirty Job

Awhile ago I very lightly lubed some slugs before making sure to not get a lot on the slugs. I was told to not over do it or bad results would occur. Really wasn’t seeing a difference. Recently I saw Matt Dubber in a vid load up a mag and he nonchalantly commented that they were slippery due to...

    Slugs is a Dirty Job

I had a batch of nsa 29.5gr slugs leftover from trying in my mk3 wildcat. Threw them in my m3 Impact I just bought and had the most insane groups I’ve seen from slugs. The same if not better than my pellets. Still haven’t gotten that supreme accuracy again although I’m close now. I thought the...

    Slugs is a Dirty Job

I’m shooting .25 cal slugs which seems to have much less diameter options. In the past I’ve been shooting a lot of .250 but right now I’m shooting .249. This lead seems softer as well which might be another factor?

    Slugs is a Dirty Job

That sounds awful haha I’ve been real happy with how these H&N heavy slugs are shooting. They seem pretty clean and feel like they have some lube on them but I just cleaned and lubed a tin to see if it makes any difference. Tried a different cleaning technique as well just to try. I got the...

    Slugs is a Dirty Job

I finally have gotten my gun to shoot slugs substantially better recently so I've been shooting them a lot. I cleaned the barrel before testing some new slugs so i could get accurate results. I was surprised by the amount of crud I cleaned out of the barrel. After not quite a couple hundred...

Tungsten Hammer over 800mm barrel and power block?

I have a internally stock M3 (no slug power kit and no power block) only a nsa pin probe as the only hardware change. .25 cal 700mm barrel 40gr slugs at 940fps reg 150 and hammer maxed out. How much fps would just the tungsten hammer gain me? It seems like the cheapest upgrade of the 3 with the...

My M3 likes some .25 cal H&N Heavy Slugs

The only ones that were available were the .249s last time I checked.

My M3 likes some .25 cal H&N Heavy Slugs

I’ve been trying to shoot slugs for about a year now. It’s been very frustrating at times but I think I’ve finally found the ammo, techniques, and knowledge to finally start having consistent success. I’ve shot many different slugs and while I haven’t tuned specifically for each one I’ve been...

    .25 cal H&N Heavy Slugs

Have y’all tried the these new slugs? What’s your experience? Just got mine. Haven’t done a lot of testing yet due to high wind and cold temps but they’re out performing my other slugs so far. Really like the 40gr right now. Like I said not a lot of shots with them on paper but the birds are...

FX Chronograph Reading Inaccurately with my M3

Ok instead of placing it on the end of my barrel or on the table under the barrel I placed the chronograph right in front of the bottle on the m3. That moved it back several inches from the end of the barrel. Since doing that it has fixed the issue with misreading my m3. Now I'm getting results...

FX Chronograph Reading Inaccurately with my M3

Tried some new alkaline batteries. No change. Went to the store for new lithium batteries. No change. Changed minimum return from 20 to 10, then to 30. No change. I'll see if Utah airguns can help me out. If not I can't recommend this at all.

FX Chronograph Reading Inaccurately with my M3

Update on this: redownloaded apps and also compared to my original chronograph I had before the fx PC. The new apps made no difference. Shots jumping from 960 to 980 every other shot. Switched out moderators as well from the fat boy to the fx donnyfl. No change there, still inconsistent. Dug out...
