If have a long and a compact both in .25. Depends on how you plan on hunting with it. If you walk in the woods a lot, like I do, you might find the shorter one better. At least for me, the long is not as easy to maneuver. That’s why got the compact. But my current favorite hunting rifle is...

It’s very easy to remove the air tube. Only need two size hex tools. Good luck !
