Looks cool. But wouldn’t it have been easier to just buy the one with all that installed already? 😂

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

when k first got it I filled it with oil. Did the break in, and then changed the oil again. Cheap insurance to make sure all the crap was out of the crank case. Your post reminded me of another issue I hadn’t shared. I too had a little (like super tiny) oil drip from the drain plug as well...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Thanks for the update Brian. Good to hear from you, and thanks for all your help this compressor. I'm gong on a year and half. I don't have nearly the hours but my unit is still going strong as well. The only thing I've had to change is an O-ring on the tampon filter housing.

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Good news. 🤞🏻 they hold up and you get years of enjoy from them. I’m at about a year and half and going strong. I started filling bottles for people local to me to make a couple bucks and help offset the cost of the compressor. Plus verify few places close to me to get a fill or top off. I’m...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Filter Techs I used the Tropics blend and it’s been fine for me, but others have had issues with it foaming and gunking up. I’d stick with the one above. Yes distilled water with a tiny bit of Water Wetter. You can buy all kinds of places. Most auto parts stores have it.

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

I believe that's the same one the rest of have. I've had good luck as have several others, but there are some on here who haven't been so lucky. It's just a matter of time before any high pressure air compressor will need to be fixed. You can't put something mechanical under that much stress...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Glad my screw up could help you. I will tell you if it’s taking 30% longer I’m 99.9% sure you have a leak even though your sure you don’t. I told B Thurman the same thing and he said “you have a leak” I did. When I screwed the gauge back together didn’t quite get it sealed. Ever so...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Contact user B Thurman on this forum. He owns Veridum Air on Texas. He’s using these compressors for his business to fill his customers tanks so these compressors CAN be reliable. I haven’t talked to him in several month so not sure how it’s going, but last we spoke he was the US distributor...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Same thing I’m running. My oil is crystal clear. Weird. I know B Thurman has some issues with the 700 too. Maybe environment?? I live in the desert. I’ll probably switch to the 500 next just because. Seems like that’s the consensus.

Just curious. Those that have had theirs die and or had issues, what kind of oil are you running?

Just keeping my fingers crossed. When this one dies and I can’t repair it any more I’ll probably go that route.

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

All the compressors except for a couple made in Europe are made in China. And yes unless you’re gonna shell out $2-3k China is your only real option. Guess I’m one of the lucky one. Haven’t had any issues that weren’t self induced yet.

    Tuning Brocock Fill Valve Fix!

Daryl, if you don’t have one of those little specialty tools to remove the valve, AOA gave me one for free. I’m sure of you contact them or whoever you purchased from I’m sure they’d send you the valve and tool.

    Tuning Brocock Fill Valve Fix!

I was always able to get the old style to work again, just had to break it seat every thing and I was back in business….for 4-5 fills. I just got in the habit of always having the tools with me to do it. I actually went through very few o-rings. When I took the valve apart 99.9% the o-ring was...

    Tuning Brocock Fill Valve Fix!

Sorry, to clarify, it worked far longer implying that it too stopped working? So the Amazon replacement valve stopped working to? Thanks for the feedback Daryl
