Sub $600 dollar gun picture thread

BTW @Boostcreep this came up on the Classifieds literally 2-3 days after I finally ordered my refurb from Hatsan. Would have bought it in a second but happy it went to someone who is enjoying it!

    Any guns you regret buying"

I would say “regret” only in that I have one that just sits in the rack looking sadly at me. Picked up a .25 Hatsan Galatian Tact. as my first PCP. I have shot it 2 times in a year and a half. It could double as an Anchor and is way overpowered for backyard duties. Not the rifles fault as it...

    Do aesthetics affect your buying?

WOW! I have very much enjoyed reading everyone’s varied take on the subject. It seems overwhelmingly obvious that regardless of which style we prefer, we DO prefer a style and it plays an important factor in our purchases. Now I won’t feel so weird passing on a practical choice. I also like...

    Do aesthetics affect your buying?

To qualify, do you buy purely for form and practicality be damned? Or are your gun buys purely a matter of function and who cares if it looks like a hot mess? I assume most of us somewhere in between. I ask specifically because I have been flirting with an AirForce Talon/Escape for awhile...

    Hatsan reliability

I have a .25 Galatian Tact. I bought used from a member here. Shot it twice and has sat since. Performed flawlessly and has held air for over a year. Picked up a .22 FlashPup as a refurb from Hatsan as I wanted to see if Bullpups shot well for me. Luckily it ended up being a side lever...

    Low End PCP for Friend

First off, beginning my journey I did the Chaser/MrodAir CP2. Needless to say I went down the Rabbit hole. It has evolved as Ed has done. Endless fun to work on. I say that tuning wise. The gun has never broken down on me. It’s around 1k CHP in and happy all around. Wes at Airgunarchery is...

NP03 Love. Man this is cool

I know the NP-04 is out overseas. However it is quite a bit more expensive, semi, and different configuration with a rear bottle. NP-500 looks to me like a 03 with a bottle. Who knows what if any we will get.

NP03 Love. Man this is cool

I also have a Umarex Notos on preorder that looks to be indefinitely delayed. If they push the in stock date one more time it’s getting canceled for the Kral. Mind if I ask where you found the great sale? Edit: Out of stock at AGD and Pyramid, but great price! Whomp womp.

Will be interested to see as well. Eventually it will get a safepac when I figure out a HPA solution for him. For now grabbing the hammer spring from Froggys to add a little more push.

So my usual short story long disclaimer. Here goes. Contacted Wes at ArcheryFun mid April I believe. He was out of barrels but was due some 17in ones mid May. Told him sign me up. Roll Forward and order a Umarex Notos to scratch my Carbine Itch. Well that turned into a soup sandwich which...

Should get my “custom” 16in barrel with 1/2-20 threaded end via Brian at ArcheryFun tomorrow. Hoping to make this little thing even more fun. I can say between the excellent support of Terry and Brian. As well as you guys. I have never had more fun working on a gun. Powder Burner or otherwise.

Wow! Interesting. My picture was taken in an attempt to troubleshoot if the Lower Adapter was compatible with a Targetmaster/CP1-M. Didn’t work out “stock” in the end just due to some minor differences in the trigger well. However I digress. Terry took amazing care of me even though the...

What does yours exactly look like? This is mine from April. I’m pretty sure he sells enough not to have a “prototype” laying around he would risk sending. Honestly sorry for the install issues, really am wondering how to help.

Anyone heard of AEA Element PCP?

Got that. Obviously performance will differ, but was just commenting to some general characteristics.

Anyone heard of AEA Element PCP?

I have one in .22. Been a fantastic shooter. Especially since it will happily sling CHP’s accurately all day. I do like the fact it uses legit materials in the quest for lightness.
