    Ameristep Chair Blind

Purchased this for fishing on the beach to stay out of the sun and wind but I think it will serve double duty as a portable hunting blind.

    Tuning Trigger repaired

Trigger top sear for the S510 arrived this afternoon and the installation was pretty straight forward. if anything, with the new seer installed the trigger feels smoother. Is it possible the original part was cracked for some time before completely breaking, affecting the trigger pull?

    Hatsan probe o-ring?

Does the o-ring on a Hatsan fill probe need to be made out of any special material? I lost an o-ring off the probe so I am looking to replace it.

Norma pellets in the 22 Gladius

First try with Norma pellets in the 22 Gladius. 36 yards . I think this gun has a pretty definate sweet spot and things start to wander as the pressure drops. I’m not a bench rest shooter obviously but these appear to do as well as anything I have tried to date and Midway seems to have a good...

    Diana 48 pellet trial

I found some different pellets at the local gun shop this morning and decided to try them out. Shooting the Diana 48 at 36 yards. The Norma 17.6 did better than the Crosman 13.7. The first 5 with the Norma did okay considering the shooter. I then shot 5 Crosman and finished with a Norma...

    Tuning Broken trigger sear

I went to shoot the Air Arms S510 this afternoon and it would not fire. A quick trip to the internet suggested the possibility of a broken top sear in the trigger assembly. Sure enough when I took the plate off the trigger assembly, I found the sear to be in two pieces. Is it possible to...

Lots to learn with the Springer

Learning how to shoot the Diana 48 decently is going to take some time. The whole concept of letting the rifle do what it wants is new to me. I can see with the loose hold that trigger control will be critical to having some success. Even though it doesn’t look like it, I did a little better...

First go with the Diana 48

I got the 3-12 Hawke Nite Eye mounted this morning. Shot a few to see what she will do. Middle dot was the sight in at 20 yards. First shot was very high on the paper. After getting close at 20 I moved it out to 36 yards and shot at rhe left dot and then 5 at the right dot. I think this gun...

    Diana 48

I was looking for a 22 cal Springer and was told the Diana 34 was good for a break barrel. Headed in that direction looking for one and then saw this Diana 48 for sale locally (200 mile round trip) and after reading some good reviews I decided to have a go. It looks to be in excellent shape. ...

    Advise and recommendations?

I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting a 22 break barrel for some backyard plinking. After looking at the local ads I see a Diana 48 side lever for sale for $275. For you folks in the know, is this a decent gun for that price?

    22 springer?

Curious to see what folks would recommend for a a decent economical 22 springer for some back yard plinking and 30 yard pest control? Just looking to get something that shoots decently without breaking the bank.
