I’m kind of tossing around the same scenario. From my limited research, I guess the advantages that would make you go with the tank are: speed-the tank will fill your gun in seconds portability- not a huge advantage over the new Nomad as you mentioned. reliability- I haven’t read any issues...

Forgot the chrony data. It it is now using about 9-10 bar/shot. If I fill it to to 250 bar, I can get 15 shots. 

Thanks for the responses. I got to mess around with it some today. 3 clicks got me down to around 688 FPS. 4 clicks was around 650. I’m leaving it set for 688 and zeroed at 32 yds. That gives me a PBR from 11-36 yds assuming a squirrel head target (0.7”). Accuracy was really good for me. ...

It is using about 10-12 bar/shot according to the edmu. I only have a hand pump at this point, so I am only filling it to about 230ish bar and then shooting down to around 130 bar. Getting around 9 shots with that setup. 

Thanks, I remembered that it’s clockwise to decrease speed right after I posted that. I corrected my original post That group was 25 yards from a decent rest and no wind. I also shot JSB Kings and H&N Baracuda Hunters. The Hades were the best group, which makes me happy because I like to hunt.

How is the Traveler working for you?

I got the pump yesterday. It arrived missing a bag of accessories including the test plug, rebuild kit and Allen wrenches. Now I get to wait for a replacement and a trip to UPS store for Amazon return. 

I might do the same thing. I’m more of a hunter than plinker, though. After I’m sighted in and pick my best pellet, I’ll probably shoot less than 500 shots/year. I would think the hand pump would be fine for that.
