The blueing was there for the most part, cleaned it up with 0000 steel wool and light oil, washed it down and touched up with birchwood extra cold blue. Yes the finish is tru-oil, pretty sure that walnut stock would cleanup great.

    N/A BSF S60

I bought a rusty, non functioning BSF S60 sold by Baker Airguns on one of thier Ebay auctions two years ago. Solve a mystery about the new version of the FEINWERKBAU Sport air rifle

I bought my FWB Sport, serial number 12400504 from Airguns of Arizona on 11/23, it was in the preowned listing and described as used for a video review model. Curious I searched the internet in hopes of finding a review with this rifle. I found the video review Ben Pierson recorded on 10/30/2021...

    Sheridan Let’s see those Pumpers!

Got most of them from a friend who’s family ranch had them stashed in the numerous out buildings and some came from my dad and uncles as well.

Other Haenel Model III DRP - Lack of Markings

Not sure what to say or make of this pre-WWII Haenel Model III DRP at the moment, other than its markings are much different than the ones on my older Model III. This rifle has none of the typical stampings in the known locations such as there is only a small z on the underside of barrel where...

Crosman Rebuild of Crosman Model 102 - Anyone know of a good instructional video??

It’s a 102 if it takes a .22 pellet or a 104 if it takes a .177. All my 102’ are early models with no screw and checkered stocks, not exactly sure when they added the screw to the housing cover I assume some where around late 1929 and appears to be used through at least 1941. Also the ones with...

    N/A Springers in .25

I always wanted to try a .25 air rifle and two weeks ago I had an opportunity to pick up a used .25 Hatsan 125 Sniper with gas ram from a local pawn shop having a 50% off sale, got it for $99.50. I prefer springs over the gas ram but I felt the price was right to try my first .25 air rifle. I...

    Air Arms Bavaria 55 N

I have only used 2 pellet brands so far in my .177 BSF-WISCHO 55N: The RWS 8.3gr Superdome Pellets average 745 fps. The 7.4gr Crosman Wadcutter pellets average 780 fps. Just like its Model 60S cousin, it likes the Superdomes best. As for accuracy I have no issues with either pellet getting...

Crosman Crosman 362 One Hundred Year Edition - Glad I Decided to Get One

Pre ordered one in May 2023, cancelled pre order in mid June due to shift in priorities. Fall came and wife told me to get one if I still wanted one, from there it was another 2 weeks before I convinced myself to make the purchase. So glad I did, this rifle is everything I was expecting that it...

    HW/Weihrauch HW30 black

One last thought, did you make any adjustment to the big silver screw, if you did you may want to go back on the adjustment. After seeing A.G.R post about coil bound that would also be high suspect area.
