    Merry Christmas everyone! Found a Maverick under the tree today(whata wife). Only got to play with it for a short while. Question, sounds like something sliding in the cheek piece area when the barrel is moved up and down (floor to ceiling) when not cocked, is this normal? I wouldn't think...

    Where do I get a wall rack like that? Made one out of scrap wood for my shed gun that works, but that one really pushes my got to have button. The guns are nice too!

    Trex deck boards are heavier than wood. Made some end tables out of the leftover trex from my deck, were too heavy to move easily, were very stable.

    You can add weight to the synthetic stock by removing the butt plate add a pound stick of duct seal(still in the wrapper for easy removal) and try it for yourself. Home depot and lowes have the duct seal in the electrical department.

    Have you tried to get your felony record expunged. Have a friend who had a property damage felony (graffiti damage over $1000) removed and now passes NICs check for firearms purchases. He was 18 and now in his 40's.
