What’s the cheapest pellet trap I can make?

Small plastic Rubbermaid container about 6" deep packed with old clothing (towels, tee shirts, jeans whatever else), cut most of the lid out and duct tape cardboard on for a replaceable target. Works great, easy to replace and stops everything.

    Size Comparison: Vulcan 3 / Cricket 2 Tact 45 / Uragan Compact

    12 ft/lb Weihrauch springer?

I love both my HW97KT and HW98, had both tuned by Motorhead and they are super smooth and super accurate. Two I will keep forever.

Beginner 1k budget... PCP or Break Barrel?

Just another opinion. If I had to do it all over again, I would start off with a Weihrauch HW97 or HW98, have it tuned and put a scope on it. PCP's are great but you have to be prepared to spend a whole lot more money for your air supply. I'm fortunate and have a lot of great high end rifles...

What is your most 'precise' airgun?

For me it's my trusty old Daystate MK4, but I have a pretty nice lineup that's looking to dethrone her this spring so we will see.

Just got the scope mounted at sighted in, I think this is going to be a spectacular pairing. Daystate Redwolf Heritage .22 HP and the New Sightron SVIII 5-40x56 with a giant 40 mm main tube.

Upper Tier - what would you buy?

Finally got my rail adapter and got a chance to get the scope mounted, sighted in and about 20 shots through it at 15 yds indoors. So far so good, love the precise floating center dot, parallex seems very precise, turrets fell good, very nice clicks, tiny bit of slop (not bad at all), glass...

Look what showed up on the door step today. Now just waiting on my rail adapter for these 40 mm rings, which by the way are huge, this thing is mammoth. Can't wait to get it sighted in!

Upper Tier - what would you buy?

Well I decided since this is primarily going to be a bench gun and with the current sale price I went ahead and bought the Sightron SVIII 5-40x56, curiosity killed the cat. Not much info out there yet on these and really wanted to get behind one. I will post some info when it comes in. Thanks...

Upper Tier - what would you buy?

Thanks for all the input from the group, appreciate the input and still processing through and pricing all the great options out. Partially holding out for a few more days to see if any great used scopes pop up after Christmas. I wish there were more reviews out their on the Sightron SVIII...

Upper Tier - what would you buy?

I appreciate the feedback from everyone, not much in my area to get my hands on 1st before buying, not many long range guys or ranges in my area. As mentioned, I'm sure there all great, not going to lie I would love to try them all, maybe I need to rotate through a few to figure out what I like...
