It's a shame they wouldn't do it for u, call around other batteries plus stores ,see if they would do it. Also may want to ask if they sold you the eneloops would it make a difference.

The leshy is solid top to bottom, most of those improvements is owners putting their personal stamp on an already great gun. Do you NEED to do anything more to it? No Is it fun to do? Absolutely 😊 u make it truly yours. That's just my opinion tho🤔
