    GX CS3 periodic service

I haven't serviced my CS3 for about a year, so thought it was time, I used it periodically at home but most use is filling my guns during ~6 hours of continous shooting at the range, each week. The compressor runs for about 2 hours during that time, estimating ~100 hours per year. Pulling it...

    N/A Chose between

Having never even seen a Revere, and having had it on my list when I bought my S510 and again when bought my DRS, I'm interested in the comparisons, especially with the HW100 and S510 that I own. I only shoot from the bench, full power .22 pellets only, mainly CPHP 14.3 gr, at silhouettes to 160...

    N/A Best airgun oil?

SAE 50 is a motor oil viscosity grade, but SAE 90 is a gear oil, which uses a different viscosity measure. SAE 30 motor oil and SAE 90 gear oil are of similar viscosity. This might be useful to someone. SAE is the popular viscosity scale for vehicle applications, although we usually measured...

    N/A Please help Air Leak

I haven't seen an Airacuda, but is the poppet #27 ? https://spares.bagnallandkirkwood.co.uk/jts-airacuda/ Does it seal to #29? Is there an O ring or how do they effect the seal?

    N/A Best airgun oil?

When you said "like 50 weight", do you mean that it is of similar viscosity to SAE 50 motor oil? I'm just asking for reference.

    Cs4 Power supply

Unfortunately, not. I will have to wait until the problem is able to be duplicated often enough to locate. :)

    Cs4 Power supply

My CS3 sometimes won't start, but a knock on the case does the job. I've never been able to duplicate the problem with the case off so haven't been able to localize the issue. It will go for weeks, then might have a couple of no starts on the same day. Maybe something like that? Mine is more...

    Cs4 Power supply

+1 These power supplies are very common, often sold as LED power supplies. I have been using them for decades, as battery chargers, RV power converters, vehicle troubleshooting assistance, etc. They are claimed to be self limiting in terms of current output (maximum amps), but also have a...

97 cubic foot tank or 4500 air compressor for being a couple hundred miles away from civilization 2000 to 3,000 shots per day thank you

2-3,000 pellets, slugs, cartridges is a lot for a day. When shooting ground squirrels, we seldom were above 1,000 rounds of powder burner ammo in 10 AM (when it was warm enough that they were out) to dusk. Shooting quite consistently at the range, about 6 hours per day, I shoot 500-700 pellets...

OK so first cheap compessor is......

As Gerry52 questioned, "What compressor?". If you can post a photo of your compressor and setup, that may help with suggestions.

will gx cs4i fill a 9l scba tank

I was smiling about the noise. I use my CS3 at the range and have only had one noise complaint, from a guy who was shooting a .308 Winchester. He complained about the compressor noise, and I asked if he was serious. The other shooters all turned their heads and started laughing at the...

will gx cs4i fill a 9l scba tank

Aplogies for the segway, but I'm curious about why people prefer to fill a tank/bottle rather than to use a portable compressor at the range/shooting location. I'm not arging against the decision to do that, just curious about the tank versus compressor solution.

FX FX DRS Classic V2 - Wish List

I absolutely agree about the magazines. I have Steameone13 magazines for my Streamlines and DRS. Had them for my Dynamic. Much easier & quicker to load. The FX magazines look like the won an engineering contest, but belong in my drawer.

Battery power for my GX CS2

That's the kind of experience that made me give up on using an SCBA tank.

    What’s your favorite target?

If you are shooting the small flippers at 55 yards, with a pistol, I'm just going to sit here and resent you. ;-)

FX FX DRS Classic V2 - Wish List

    1. I agree about the "swivel stud" but only as a threaded socket that will allow attachments without a protrusion which my not be desired. 2. Are you advocating for different liners at only the same (550 mm) barrel length? 3. Larger plenum- is one plenum volume ideal for all uses? 4...

    what scope would you recommend?

One Hawke Airmax 30 6-24x50SF, three Hawke Airmax 4-12x50 AO, Hawke Vantage 4-12x50 AO, Hawke Vantage 2-7x32 AO, UTG 3-9x32 True Hunter, two UTG Bugbuster 3-9x32 AO. Depending on requirements, it's hard to beat and of the Hawkes or the Bugbustersm IME. My granddaughter has a Bugbuster 3-9x32...

    Messed up big time…help!

If one is handy, an auto stop gauge and relay can be installed onto many compressors, as I did to my Nuong. It was only econmically practical because I got the junction block from a failed compressor.
