Thats not what I was trying to explain. There are metal inserts in the stock that these small machine thread screws tighten snugly into. I will either just snug them down as is, or use a tiny bit of locktite on each. I am just wondering what purpose the flat washer serves, and why was there...

Whenever I see a chipmunk in my backyard. Woodpile is 90’ from my sniper lair (porch). Thinning the herd accordingly. 

I have been pounding the squirrels in my backyard for the past 3 years. Simply amazed that they just keep coming. Two weeks ago I changed my attention to Starlings and have easily killed 30 with very little effort. 

Just purchased my wood Avenger (.22 cal) from John at New England Airgun. He and his wife Zee, are great people to deal with.

Have been loving my .22 Gauntlet for backyard squirrel and chipmunk control. The Avenger will be my second pcp, and I really love the idea of a smooth operating side lever. I need to place that order soon. Quadcab
