honestly never consider cost of pellets....after much testing, stick with what works - accuracy is more important than cost - These days, I only use 48gr. AVS HP/BT slugs in my .25 - and 34gr Griffin in my .22. Ive bought and sold sooo many pellets in the quest for the "right" pellet. getting...

Try re-crowning & lapping the barrel - up the reg. pressure a bit or reg may need a rebuild (I had to rebuild my huma's) - possibly wrong hammer spring - try a different moderator (tested a few and could not believe the shift in poi between a few of them) - you may be using the wrong diameter...

i would never sell either of my Taipan Vets.....almost never break, easy to maintain, easy to modify, extremely accurate.
