I was thinking the same thing. I have a friend that is a professional wood craftsman. He makes custom bows, guitars, etc. I own two of his custom long bows. Beautiful craftsmanship. I think he'd be willing to make me a custom stock. There may be someone in your area that can do the same.- OscarM

From watching the video I am pretty impressed with the performance and features of this air rifle. I've been waiting for either a Marauder Field and Target or a Fortitude to become available in .22, along with the hand pump, but the Air Venturi Avenger looks like a great alternative.- OscarM

AEAC video - Beeman R9 .22 - FULL REVIEW
I'm shopping around for an air rifle to shoot in my backyard (city area), with neighbors on all sides. How does the sound level of the Beeman R9 compare to the Benjamin Fortitude Gen2? A db meter reading would be nice. I know a lot of people find them confusing but I'm a retired sound engineer...- OscarM
